Another month, another episode!
We're still in our Star Trek era and this time we're talking about the glorious goodbye of its funniest animated show. (That's not too controversial, right? Any TAS truthers out there?)
But wait, there's more! As of the release of this episode it looks like we might be clairvoyant after all. If you do not want to think about the current state of the world and Germany specifically, you should skip the Fuck-Fucks and Dudes this time.

What’s this?A new episode? In this economy??
Yes people, we are back in business after a short *checks notes* one year time off. We are so happy to return with our hot takes, our mediocre jokes and our somewhat thought-out Star Trek opinions.
To celebrate the occasion, we have watched the greatest moment of the century (so far), the unification of one Mr. Jim Kirk and one Mr. tshshttsteeejktsssthhhchhh Spock! The short film "Unification" was a celebration of 30 years “Star Trek: Generations” and gave us the happy ending we were all waiting for.
So comejoin us in a celebration of love and salad in today’s episode.
Spoilers ahead, cadets!
CW: The short film in itself deals with loss and death. We also discuss the current political state of the world. Therefore, we advise caution when listening to this episode. Stay safe, everyone!

Saknas det avsnitt?

Merry Crisis everyone!
Even though we have been notably absent in the past few months we couldn't not give you a round up of our year, personal and geek-wise. You may not have been waiting for this one, but come along anyway! We promise it's not just Alex hating on Multiverse of Madness again (will this become an annual tradition? We're definitely excited to find out!)
PS: We cannot promise yet to upload regulalry again but we can definitely try, there should be coming more your way next week!

Whatever you are expecting, this episode is not that. But we do definitely talk about the one and not only William Thomas Riker! If this is not the first episode you are listening to, you know that our love for Commander Riker knows no bounds, so feel free to experience it with our tired and exhausted selves! And in case you want to know a little more about Paula's job, this is the one for you.
If you want to swoon with us about this amazing man and his beard, you can hit us up on Instagram and Twitter @deep_space_gay or write us an email under [email protected]!

And now the conclusion....
As we have already talked about the things we loved in the new Guardians movie, let's dive into the things we disliked. As usual, there will be spoilers! And a lot of shenanigans.

We are back with our marvel shenanigans and as usual we have our great friend Selina with us.
This is part 1 of our Guardians 3 discussions, as we had a lot to say. Enjoy the ride!

NOT the movie!
The alien is escaping and Riker is in trouble. After a recon mission turned badly, Riker ended up in an alien hospital close to death. The first mission contact of the Enterprise turns into a rescue mission with a lot of involuntary beaming and some very violent "doctors".
Also, how does Earth's political system(s) actually work in the future? A question we discuss with no definitive answer as we are not Star Trek actors who were briefed on this.

Paula is asking the hard questions this episode as we review the third season of the Mandalorian. Spoilers ahead!
This season focussed a lot more an Mandalorian cultures and what could potentially unite Mandalorians. It also showed us why exactly they don't unite very often - looking at you, Axe and Paz! We had dragons, we had Jack Black, we had found family, we had space battles! Grab your blasters and join us in our review of the latest Mando season and our discussion on the future of the New Republic in times of Disney!
Also, spoilers for Star Wars: Rebels are discussed in this episode!

Is this one of our favorite episodes of TNG? Hear for yourself!
It's time for a good old discussion of a single ep, but this one in particular really has it all: a tragic romance, psychic connections, open conversation, a good amount of side eye, those lightning globe things you saw at the christmas market in 2009.. a dream!
If you too ship Beverly and Picard, you can tell us on instagram (and sometimes Twitter) @deep_space_gay or email us under [email protected]. Maybe we can start a support group?

The truth is out babes! Dr. Beverly Crusher, the brain behind many medical and scientific advancements in the Star Trek universe is also a great friend, a loving mother, an amazing dancer and a monsterfucker. You could say shes's multifaceted. And since there is so much to say about Beverly, we dedicated this episode to her! Enjoy our discussion and maybe you also get to learn something about some truly awesome women in STEM.
If we forgot an important fact about Bev, you can contact us on Instagram and Twitter under @deep_space_gay or write us an email at [email protected]. -
Happy Easter and magical bunnies to everyone!
We had a few characters left from our Christmas episode and decided to spend Easter with some of our favourite characters. And Clyden.

We joked about it a couple of weeks ago, but now we are in it. There are more movies about the greatness of the US-American military than there is sand on the beach, so we wanted to take a closer look at the queer and oftentimes homoerotic subtext of such. For that we picked a movie and its sequel, Transformers and Transformers - Revenge of the Fallen. Jk! Of course we talked about TOP GUN and TOP GUN - MAVERICK! Happy first week of spring everyone!

Aren't you glad we are having a calm and collected discussion on the ethical and medical dilemmas (dilemmata??) that Beverly is expereincing while investigating the murder of a fellow scientist? No? Well, you're in luck then. Whatever you think this episode is, that's probably not it. Neverthelss, we really enjoyed talking about this Space Whodunit!
PS: We talk a bit about medical trauma and surgery/autopsy in this one, as it is depicted in the episode. Be safe if that triggers you in any way!
PPS: You can find us on Instagram and Twitter under @deep_space_gay or write us an email under [email protected] :) -
If you haven't seen the film, be aware of spoilers! Or do it the way we did and have the plot explained to you by our amazing guest expert Selina. Because the two of us couldn't be bothered to leave the house for this movie, so we had Selina do it for us!
You can find her and her awesome videos on TikTok, Youtube and Instagram at @prol_x.
You can find our dumb asses on Twitter and Instagram at @deep_space_gay and send us your hatemail to [email protected]. Toodles!

sooo, we are late with today's episode and that's because remembering stuff isn't our strong suit. Anyways.
We start out with a fun discussion about the TNG episode "Yesterday's Enterprise" and talk about the iconic moments, including Tasha's lipstick, Riker's falling and of course, the legendary prune juice! Then we drift off into the Delta Quadrat. We'll be back soon with our regular schedule, but times are busy at the moment. As a treat you get a longer episode though, so we're all winners today!

We are back after a short January-hiatus and we start right back into the new year with fun topics like space fascism, space violence and space gays! Andor broke our hearts and made us rethink a lot of what we already knew about Star Wars. This episode starts out wild and then turns very serious and thoughtful - most of the time. Oh, and we also have some new rules for Baaaarclay's day. Spoilers for season 4 of Star Wars: Rebels!! If you have thoughts you wanna share, you can find us on Instagram and Twitter under @deep_space_gay or can send us a quick e-mail to [email protected]!

For the last time in this decades long year we are back with Star Trek shenanigans!
Tasha Yar is a badass who was taken from all of us too soon. She is cool, confident and sadly not slime-resistant. In this action filled episode Paula created a quiz Alex should have been better at answering and we collectively decided that it's a good thing for 2022 to be over. Join us for our fun little ride before jumping into our two weeks off.
Happy new year everyone and may the odds be ever in your favour!

Haaaaaaappy Holidays to all you lovely listeners!
We have a special gift for you and yes, it is related to our awesome audio editing skills. We also have a fun epsiode for you, full of yearly reviews, games and the very deep question as to why we all seem to have daddy issues.
Now strap on your antlers, get into your fuzzy sweater and let's have a fun time together!
If you feel like reaching out, you can find us on Instagram and Twitter @deep_space_gay or write us an e-mail at [email protected]. -
This episode is almost as wild as season 3 of Lower Decks itself! We share our likes, struggle with the internet connection and have an important discourse on the name Thomas. Also, toilet paper.
Paula's audio is a bit off for a couple of minutes in the first half, so don't be afraid, it's not your headphones or other audio outlet making the weird noises. It's Paula. She's clearly practicing how one can sound like a Star Wars-holo without actually having to go to space.
Honk honk, the email is [email protected], and caw caw, Instagram and Twitter are @deep_space_gay!
no, we also don't know what happened here...
-
It's time to talk about the coolest security officer on the Enterprise (sorry Worf!), Tasha Yar.
To start with her character we picked an episode where she isn't in it because... you know... black slime bloop bloop...
Legacy is a Westside-Story-Esque episode about drama, trust and family where we meet Tasha's sister, Ishara. The Enterprise crew needs to rescue some officers and Data needs to learn a life lesson. And we desperately need more brain cells!
