If you look up muse in the galactic dictionary, there would be a photo of her. Her brain, style, philosophy, and even her dreams are the coolest. I have been going through a seriously hard time lately, and speaking with her, and this episode were so inspiring to me, it got me excited to write for the first time in a very long time. But, she came here to share a story about something traumatic that happened to her, and altered her life. This show comes with a giant Content warning !! But, I urge you to listen, it’s tough to hear, but she found a healing modality, that helped her heal enormously, and I think can help so many people. It’s hard to listen to, but this just might be the thing could help you. This week stars a very special friend of mine, Dustin Pittman! Dustin is an amazing photographer, and has been capturing the underground scene in New York since the 60s. From Warhol, to candy Darling, Jackie Curtis, Bowie, Iggy, The New York Dolls, Lou Reed, Elton John, Liza Minelli, the first pride march in the village, and he also photographed every single show my first band played, and almost felt like a 6th member of the band. Dustin is family, and I am so excited for you to hear his story. His photos are everywhere, you’ve definitely seen his work and maybe didn’t know whose they were, but so many of the great shots are his!! He has an exhibit now at the Roxy hotel in NY now until March 12th.

This week we have hero Guy Blakeslee, an amazing musician, and sound healer! I am obsessed right now with how physical ailments, or accidents cause spiritual awakenings! Guy was hit by a car on the day of covid lockdown in LA, and woke up to a totally different world, and inner reality. Obviously the physical healing of this accident was super hard and scary, but he learned a new purpose for his music, and found an aural healing modality that he calls Personalized Sonic Talismans. He created one for me, and I highly recommend it!! It’s music he creates and channels specifically for you, and for me It created sort of a safety egg around my entire body, below my feet and above my head, and brought me absolute peace! I always wanted to see and know what a spiritually dedicated and motivated communal living utopia would look like, and this movie and the source family absolutely were that to a T. I think we are so obsessed with duality we forget that there can be good found in bad, and bad found in good. And in the source family the good was so so cool! I think I take for granted these types of books. A book that spans centuries and where someone has spent decades searching, learning, and compiling the coolest most esoteric and secret content, forming it into a book, and making it available for you to read, with out you having to do any heavy lifting! I learned about Wendy when I was researching my interview with Jodi Wille, my favorite director in the world, and director of The Source Family Documentary!! (Jodi has a new movie coming out this month about the Unarians called Welcome Space Brothers, I've attached that info below. Go see, and support this amazing work:)
I found Wendy's book "My Name Was Mushroom" and loved it!! I've always wondered what the day to day looks like in any extreme spiritual family/group, and this is a great and exciting glimpse of that! Wendy's story is so rich, and positive, while admitting how difficult it was, I feel really lucky to have found her book and spoken to her!! Please go read it if you are interested in the adventures, trials, and tribulations of a deeply spiritual community in the 60s and 70s!! It's mind blowing!!

This week stars a very special friend, and hero, Amy Wild. We met Amy while on tour with WITCH, in Vermont, and she became my instant forever friend. Amy is an animal communicator/medium, and she helped me with the ever difficult situation of how to tell Tommy, my dog, I am leaving for tour. Not only did Amy have a great session with Tommy, (that is recorded here for you) but she also gave Tommy and I so much relief !! Tommy was a different lady when I picked her up this time. And it was reported that she was much happier while I was away, and made many new dog boyfriends. Excited for you all to hear this episode!
