Dale Allen and Shellie Enteen talk about "Revealing the Druid Legacy," Shellie's inspired memoir of a Druid Priestess. The trilogy of books tells the story of Anwen, a Druid Priestess in late 5th Century Wales. I am so pleased to celebrate Deborah Koff-Chapin and her 50 years of Touch Drawing! Deborah’s profound art has been with me and “In Our Right Minds” all along, first featured in my one-woman touring show, then in the film, and now my new book on Amazon. Deborah’s soulful touch drawings convey the beauty and strength of feminine energy – it is otherworldly, and yet grounded by body and hand.

Since 1974, Deborah has poured her soul into Touch Drawing. Over the years her work developed from simple primal marks to evocative transpersonal images. In 1995 and 2000, she published a selection of drawings as “Soul Cards 1 & 2.” They continue to be used worldwide by a broad range of people including therapists, workshop leaders and creative writers. “Portals of Presence: Faces Drawn from the Subtle Realms” was released in 2021. In private sessions, Deborah creates “Inner Portraits” that bring into form many dimensions of an individual’s soul. She has also developed the art of Interpretive Touch Drawing at numerous events including the Parliament of the World’s Religions.

I hope the year is going on well with you so far... I was greatly thrilled by your perspectives on the healing energy of the sacred feminine during the Omnia's Patriarchy meeting late last year.~
One way of making sure the year continues to go well is by working more on detoxifying masculinity and transforming men to have a healthy masculinity that enhances the flourishing women and girls. This is one of our key activities line up for 2024 and into the future.
~
I am very worried about scriptural interpretations and cultural norms that legitimizes oppression and cages people into delusional boxes. I know you are too. The ease with which our religious and traditional leaders endorse marginalizing norms results in the horrific stigma, and women and girls bear the greatest brunt.
~
While some argue that all religions have been flawed from the very beginning, I hold the view that some people have managed to twist the doctrines, using religion for their own advantage throughout history.
~
This is evident in the interplay among patriarchy, gender and religion where it has confined gender roles and upheld specific gender expectations. But i also know that religion has historically contributed to psychosocial support as a meaningful source of values and practices critical to healing and well-being. Such insights shed light on the ways religious doctrines and rituals can offer avenues for gender expression and authentic healthy living,

As The Tikvah Centre, we wanted to find a way to shift this mindset so that our community and religious leaders would prioritize just and non-stigmatizing solutions to the pain caused by dis-empowering teachings by cultural and religious fundamentalists.~
I am passionate about this work because I would like to create for my two children and millions of others a better world to live and thrive. Research has proved that embracing equity and justice, will unlock the full potential of half the population, leading to greater innovation, economic growth, and social progress.
~
Recognizing the precious space occupied by religion and religious leaders in Kenya as well as the potential for progress and/or regress in scriptural (mis)interpretations, I am convinced that integrating religion in championing gender equality and women's empowerment, reproductive health justice and climate action (which has a huge impact on women and girls) would go a long way in building a more sustainable, inclusive, just, and prosperous world for all.

I have been inspired by Vicki Noble for decades and first met her in 2005 when I performed "In Our Right Minds" live at a Gather the Women Event in Connecticut. This podcast episode features a discussion that followed an online screening of film, "In Our Right Minds." Vicki took the opportunity to talk about the many topics raised in the film - bringing her wisdom and vast knowledge!
Vicki worked for many years with archaeologist Marija Gimubtas, and has lectured and taught at the graduate level, both in the United States and abroad, on female shamanism and the healing arts. She and Karen Vogel created the well known and loved Motherpeace Tarot deck. Vicki has written several books, developed a ritual healing process, and led tours of women on pilgrimage to sacred Goddess sites around the world, including to Peru, Ireland, England, Bali, Malta, Greece, Turkey, Egypt and the Aegean Islands.

Dr. Nayana Shah is an international scientist –a theoretical quantum physicist– dedicated to living a conscious, compassionate and creative life illuminated by a constant inquiry of truth. Billie Mayo formerly served as the Assistant to the Chief Academic Office of the St. Louis Public Schools and the Director of the Saint Louis Urban Educational Leadership Cohort at Saint Louis University. Billie spent 23 years as a middle school teacher before moving to into Administration. She has also been responsible for training St. Louis Public Schools personnel on a number of topics including learning styles, effective communication, improving discipline with dignity, conflict mediation and stress management. Billie has offered her insight on building multicultural alliances in workshops in the Virgin Islands, Portland Oregon, Wichita and Winfield Kansas, University City, Riverview Gardens, Saint Louis Public Schools and a number of places too numerous to mention. She has been a facilitator for the World of Difference Program, NCCJ’s Dismantling Racism Institutes, the Teaching and Leading for Social Justice Advocacy Project, and the Leadership and Racism Retreats and Institutes. Mrs. Mayo, a graduate of Harris Stowe State Teachers College, has completed two Masters Degrees at Webster University and a Doctorate in Educational Administration at Saint Louis University. Some of Billie’s achievements are the 1998 Ford Foundation “Heroes and Sheroes” award for Human Rights, the Sammy Davis, Jr. “Yes I Can” award in 1996, the Saint Louis American’s 2002 Salute to Excellence Award for Educators, the 2003 University City School System’s Martin Luther King Spirit Award for Social Justice, and the University of Missouri-St. Louis 2007 Dean’s award for contributions to Social Justice.

Reverend Doctor Anna Crews Camphouse, United Methodist Clergywoman shares the wisdom and insight of the powerful women of the Bible. Her way of telling their stories provides an empowering and honoring model for women today.
Anna is a native of Alabama who now resides in Connecticut, shepherding UMC congregations in Sharon, Lakeville and Millerton. She is a Registered Nurse who has worked in Intensive Care, Long Term Acute Care, and ER. Having earned both a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Claremont School of Theology, she is also an ordained elder in the California-Pacific Conference of the United Methodist Church. She is grateful for her husband, David, and their beautiful children. She has a strong interest in the intersections of pastoral care and evangelism, as well as religion and ecology.

I am happy to share Dr. Tahereh Ahdieh who shares her Bahai faith and the powerful story of her courageous and visionary Persian namesake, the 19th Century Táhirih, "The Pure One." Tahirih (Fatimih Umm-Salamih 1817- 1852) inspires today. In 1852, at the age of 38, Tahirih was executed for her beliefs and activities. Her last recorded words were, “You can kill me as soon as you like, but you will never stop the emancipation of women.”
Dr. Ahdieh is a 7th Generation Bahá’í. She shares the beauty of her faith and is simply captivating in her sincerity and wisdom. She and her husband, Dr. Hussein Ahdieh teach about Tahirih, sharing this heroine across time and cultures.

I was truly fortunate to sit with women as they spoke so profoundly from their hearts about their love-in-action toward the Parliament's themes of: a call to conscience, the support of the human rights and dignity of women, and the care of the next generations of children (which, of course includes care of our earth).•••
This episode features Hanna Yaffe. Hanna Yaffe was born in London to a Rabbinic family. She has lived in Plymouth (UK) and Sunderland, studied in Gateshead, lived in Johannesburg, South Africa during the height of apartheid, an experience which shaped her into a humanist and spiritual activist by the age of 19. She moved to Jerusalem in 1975, where she is deeply involved with arts and culture as a means to Peacework.
Hanna has frequently shared forums with Muslim and Christian storyteller, touring around the UK on the "Spirit Of Peace Tour" with Sheik Hassan Manasra and she is the Jerusalem Coordinator of Spirit of Peace UK based charity.She is an active member of Shira Hadasha, a Feminist Orthodox Synagogue. She regularly leads prayers there and for women's groups around the country. She defines herself as an unorthodox orthodox Rabbinic Jew(ess)
Hanna has produced three CD's:
"Birth in a Time of Bloodshed", a collection of lullabies from around the world written in time of war, exile and slavery.
"Lullabies from Jerusalem" a collection of folk lullabies sung by artists who belong to different faiths. The disc was acclaimed by Martha Stewart as "Lullaby CD of the Year 2000".
"Return Again" is an anthology of Hassidic stories and melodies.

Stephanie Clarke was born and raised in London, England, and graduated from Bradford University with a degree in German and Russian in 1981.
