A young man was killed after being deliberately mowed down by a car last night in Dublin as a simmering feud erupted into violence.
The man died after being struck by a car as he walked along Railway Street in Balbriggan at around 9pm.

Spanish police have confirmed that the double murder in a Fuengirola bar late last month was a feud related hit linked to the long running clash between two of Scotland’s most notorious crime families.
Ross Monaghan and Eddie Lyons Jnr from Glasgow were shot dead at Monaghan’s Bar after watching the Champions League Final.
Scottish police initially said there was no evidence the double assassinations were part of the long running feud but their Spanish counterparts have since confirmed that they victims were targeted by a professional killer from the rival faction.
