Each Tuesday and Friday, Ezra Klein invites you into a conversation on something that matters. How do we address climate change if the political system fails to act? Has the logic of markets infiltrated too many aspects of our lives? What is the future of the Republican Party? What do psychedelics teach us about consciousness? What does sci-fi understand about our present that we miss? Can our food system be just to humans and animals alike?

For the past two years, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Ronan Farrow has been following a trail of clues from his investigation of Harvey Weinstein to other blockbuster stories about the systems that protect powerful men accused of terrible crimes in Hollywood, Washington, and beyond. But he didn’t bring that information to light on his own. A compelling cast of sources—from brave whistleblowers to shadowy undercover operatives—decided the fate of these investigations, sometimes risking everything in the process. The Catch and Kill Podcast brings you their stories, in their own words, for the first time.

The Atlantic has long been known as an ideas-driven magazine. Now we’re bringing that same ethos to audio. Like the magazine, the show will “road test” the big ideas that both drive the news and shape our culture. Through conversations—and sometimes sharp debates—with the most insightful thinkers and writers on topics of the day, Radio Atlantic will complicate overly simplistic views. It will cut through the noise with clarifying, personal narratives. It will, hopefully, help listeners make up their own mind about certain ideas.
The national conversation right now can be chaotic, reckless, and stuck. Radio Atlantic aims to bring some order to our thinking—and encourage listeners to be purposeful about how they unstick their mind. -
Citizen Radio is hosted by Allison Kilkenny and is dedicated to covering the stories that the mainstream, corporate media ignores.

“[Citizen Radio] has created an important political radio show that balances humor and unreported news. At a time when media conglomerates dominate the airwaves, independent media like Citizen Radio is vital to national discourse”- Noam Chomsky

"Kilkenny is one of the top 30 media heroes in the country" -The Nation
"Allison Kilkenny is this generation’s Amy Goodman” -Melissa Harris-Perry.

In 2013, a Toronto Police Officer shot and killed a teenager armed with a knife on a streetcar. Videotaped footage showing the officer firing 9 times at Sammy Yatim caused public outrage. The officer would go on trial and be found guilty of attempted murder. But this fall his lawyers will argue before the Ontario Court of Appeal that there was a miscarriage of justice when the trial judge refused evidence that the teen was on a mission to commit suicide by cop. This podcast is written and produced by Kathy Kenzora who is also host of a podcast called 1995.
