Orlando based Francesca Tarantino (francescatarantino.com) is making her mark as a young musician and shows no signs of slowing down. Her songwriting skills coupled with amazing vocals and guitar playing have put Francesca on the map. Influenced by the classic rock era, she is quickly getting recognized for her raw talent and stellar guitar solos. Inspirations include Deep Purple, Aerosmith, Heart’s Nancy and Nancy Wison as well as Avril Lavigne and Paramore. Tarantino is motivated to grow as an artist, creating unique rock music while making each composition unique.Francesca has twice performed at the iconic Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio and hopes to travel the country soon playing as many shows as she can! Music duo ‘Isabelle&Sebastian’ (Isabella DeFir and Sebastian Stephens) joined Mike and cohost actress Callie Walker on ConversationsRadio Ep.185!Isabella&Sebastian write, record and co-produce their own original music. It’s a successful collaboration that works - featuring what’s described as a “hook-filled retro vibe with a forward-looking feel.” Their humor and stage presence combine to deliver an original fresh take representing the best of indie pop.
Isabella DeFir, (19) is a passionate singer and lyricist who picked up her first mic at the age of five and started releasing her first songs by the age of 15. Her deeply inspired lyrics and musical vision are many lifetimes beyond her age, with her beautifully unique tone and songwriting places Isabella in a league of her own. She invites the world to share in personal vulnerability at the intersection of her heart and soul.
Sebastian Stephens, (12) got his first drum kit for his third birthday, grabbed his drumsticks and hasn’t come up for air since. A pitch-perfect multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and actor, Seba started earning his first paycheck playing bass, drums, and guitar by the time he was in kindergarten. He attends Berklee College of Music Online, where he became the youngest student in the history of Berklee to earn multiple certifications. As an accomplished stage and screen actor since 10, has appeared in the Broadway series ‘School of Rock, The Musical’ and in Wes Anderson’s critically acclaimed major motion picture, ‘Asteroid City.’

Returning guest Neska Rose joined Mike and cohost, actress Isabelle Anaya on ConversationsRadio Ep.184 Neska is an 18-year-old singer/songwriter and actress based in Los Angeles. She last joined us on ConversationsRadio Ep.97 in 2021.
Neska performs with Libi as a musical act. While Neska writes and creates music, playing the guitar.Libi joins in as a harmonist and pianist. They perform at many venues in LA, including The Hotel Cafe, Hotel Ziggy, Whisky A Go Go, and more. In addition to music, the sisters also pursue acting and screenwriting. Together, they wrote and performed in the Nickelodeon sketch show 'Nick Shorts.’ Neska recently appeared in the Apple TV series 'Extrapolations' opposite David Schwimmer and Daveed Diggs, and also acted in Nickelodeon's 'Drama Club' as Gertie. Neska and Libi post "Tiny Desk"-styled videos of their original songs on their YouTube channel to showcase their passion for performing.
Neska has released an EP, including the single "Epithets", which was produced by six-time Grammy-winning producer David Greenbaum, known for his work with Beck, Tom Morello, and Beabadobee. The other two tracks off the EP, "Shelly" and "The Pit", were produced by Neska, Noam Fainer, and her twin sister Libi Rose.

Mike and cohost, Award-Winning actress Kayden Tokarski welcomed actress Callie Walker to ConversationsRadio Ep.183.
Nashville native Callie Walker is a Los Angeles-based actress and voiceover artist. She’s best known for her work on the hit web series “Dhar Mann.”
Having grown up in Nashville, Tennessee, Callie was all about sports and academic life. She eventually discovered acting and the arts in the 11th grade when she chose to attend an Arts school with designs on a theatre major which changed her trajectory a bit.
While initially, Walker was not huge lover of theatre, she changed her major toFilm Production learning the ropes of the Behind-the-Scenes side of making films. This is when she fell in love with acting. She landed in Southern California and is making her way as a working actress.
At 20-year-old Callie is staying just as busy outside of Hollywood, working towards completing a pre-law Bachelor’s degree at Penn State.

Chloe is a phenomenal actress with an impressive resume’. big break happened at just 6 years old when she was cast as ‘Skye Carlson’ in HBO’s Emmy-Winning series Big Little Lies.
Now 15, she’s gone on to appear on numerous film and television projects. Her credits include Avatar: The Way of Water, Marry Me – alongside Luke Wilson and Jennifer Lopez, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves withChris Pine, Hugh Grant and Michelle Rodriguez, Pain Hustlers with Emily Blunt and Gunpowder Milkshake with Karen Gillan.

Mike and cohost, actress Violet Tinnirello welcomed actress Lexi Janicek - 'Lisa Loud' on 'The Really Loud House' now in its 2nd season on Nickelodeon.
Lexi was inspired by a friend early on who happened to be working on a web series. She decided to dive in and see if acting was something she could do. They found an agency in Nashville and she was off and running. Lexi has built an impressive resume'. In addition to her role as Lisa Loud, other projects include AppleTV's 'Echo 3' her role opposite Allison Janney and Ben Platt as a younger Kristen Bell - 'Alice' in 'The People We Hate at the Wedding' as well as Lexi's breakout role on the NBC series 'Ordinary Joe' playing young Jenny.
Lexi Janicek is also a stellar voiceover artist lending her VO talents as the voice or Bunny the rabbit on the animated series 'Duck & Goose'.

Mike and cohost, 'Wheel of Fortune' announcer Jim Thornton featured New Jersey Indie band WATERSTREET on ConversationsRadio. Dave Paulson (Guitar and Vocals) Brendon Gardner (Bass) and Julia Aiello (Vocals) joined us for a wonderful chat about the band's early beginnings, their new music - Decaf Daydream and playing live shows in New Jersey and New York.
Inspired by the northwest hills of NJ in the shadow of the Appalachian Ridge, Water Street creates a new version of Indie, mixing soulful acoustic melodies with rugged rock and roll bursts, enticing sax riffs, and a driving rhythm section with some hints of funk which combine to create a uniquely new, Pop/Indie-Folk/Roots sound.
The band first adopted the name Water Street from the location where the band would meet to practice, write and hone their craft. They took the name as a nod to their roots, reflecting the close sense of community bonding them to their town, each other, and their work.

Mike and returning cohost – actress Violet Tinnirello were thrilled to feature returning guest and occasional podcast cohost, actress Kensington Tallman to ConversationsRadio episode 179. Kensington currently stars as the voice of ‘Riley’ in Pixar’s animated sequel, ‘Inside Out 2’ - Currently Number 1 worldwide with the second biggest box office opening domestically of all time.
We talked about the movie with Kensington about the process of booking this stellar role and she shared some insights into the making of ‘Inside Out 2’ and why it’s resonating with so many. To date, the movie has grossed over $800 Million and is on target to exceed $1 Billion!
Kensington Tallman is no stranger to voiceover. She’s the voice of ‘Gauge’ in Disney Juniors FIREBUDS and has voiced the character ‘Honey Bear’ on episodes of Nickelodeon’s ‘Bossy Bear’ as well as lending her vocal talents to ‘The ‘SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run’ and many other animations projects.
Kensington is well known for her role as ‘Bianca Magic’ on Nickelodeon’s Drama Club, and ‘Tifany Highlander’ on That Girl Lay Lay. She currently stars as ‘Lucy’ on the MAX series Home Sweet Rome(filmed in Italy) and can be seen opposite Diane Keaton, Kathy Bates and Alfre Woodard as ‘Teen Ginny’ in the film, Summer Camp!

Horizon: An American Saga. – Part 1 opens in theaters June 28th and Part 2 hits theaters on August 16th. MacPhail recently returned from France where she attended the Cannes Film Festival for the screening.
Georgia also stars alongside ConversationsRadio alumni Kayden Tokarski, Kylee Levien and Romyn Smith in Roswell Delirium – directed by Richard Bakewell.
When Georgia is not in front of the camera, she loves to travel. She enjoys playing basketball and writes her own music too.

A chat about EVIL
Executive Producer and Writer Rockne S. O’Bannon - creator of such projects as Alien Nation and Farscape, joined Mike to talk about the series ‘EVIL’ – now in it’s 4th and final season on Paramount+. Returning are Skylar Gray and Dalya Knapp (Lila and Laura Bouchard) sat with us as well for a chat about the series and their roles on the show. Both are established actresses and have delivered stellar performances on EVIL as have Brooklyn Shuck (Lynn) and Maddy Crocco (Lexis) the Bouchard daughters.

Mike and cohost, actress Kayden Tokarski welcome actress Stella Grace Fitzgerald. Stella booked her first TV role in 2021as Becca Clarton - a young girl from a troubled family on NBC's 'Chicago PD.' In early summer of 2022, she was cast as Kassie Hughes - the daughter of a factory worker in' The Dancing Monkey,' directed by Chandler Wild. This feature film, scheduled to be released this summer, is an adaptation of the classic, groundbreaking play The Hairy Ape by Eugene O'Neill.Stella Grace's most recent role is that of Princess Issa in the Netflix 2-part epic space opera 'Rebel Moon - Part 1 & 2,'directed by Zack Snyder
Prior to that role, she was a guest star on Peacock's 'Mrs. Davis' playing a young Betty Gilpin and the daughter David Arquette and Elizabeth Marvel. Mrs. Davis is an episodic that has been described as "Faith vs. Technology".
In addition to her work on TV/Film, Stella has appeared in numerous commercials and has modeled for several clothing brands. When she's not auditioning or modeling, she sings and plays guitar in a pop rock band and does martial arts. She also likes to paint, write short stories, make comics, play Zelda and ride her scooter around the neighborhood.

Mike and cohost, actress Kate Moyer welcomed actress Gracelyn Awad Rinke to ConversationsRadio Episode 174. Gracelyn stars as 'Sahar' on the SYFY series Resident Alien!
LA based actress Gracelyn Awad Rinke got her start in acting at the age of 5 in local theater. While in elementary school, she starred in school plays which is where her love of acting grew. At 7, Gracelyn began booking background roles and obtained her first agent soon after. She landed her first role in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow as the 'young Zari', appearing in 2 episodes. A year later, she landed the role of ‘Sahar’ on Resident Alien and has appeared in 19 episodes of SYFY’s comedy series - created by Chris Sheridan, who is also known for his VO work on the animated series Family Guy.
Gracelyn is currently a junior in high school and calls Southern California her home. She is always honing her craft and with the guidance of her parents, she chooses her roles carefully. She loves what she does and gives 100 percent to every project she takes on. Always auditioning, Gracelyn Awad Rinke is one to watch!

Mike and returning cohost, Northern California guitarist Bella Rayne welcomed Texas country artist Payton Riley - 2023 TCMA 'Young Artist of the Year.'
Payton's musical journey began almost immediately when her love for music and talent for singing was evident before she could talk. From voice lessons at seven to writing her own songs at nine, music has always been a central part of her life. She regularly travels to Nashville and Memphis to collaborate and write, adding to her already impressive list of original music. In 2022, her first release to Texas radio, “Long Live Cowboys,” earned her a coveted spot among the Texas greats. In 2023, at just 15 years old, Payton made Texas Country Music history by becoming the youngest-ever nominee for the Texas Country Music Association’s (TCMA) ‘Young Artist of the Year’ category, which she went on to win.With goals as big as The Lone Star State, Payton Riley aims to spread her music far and wide, serving as an inspiration to other young artists. Mike and cohost, actor Joey Viera featured Australian actress and filmmaker Aurora Iler. An Award-Winning filmmaker and actress with a passion for creating film projects that focus on content affecting awareness of important issues.
At just 11, Aurora wrote and directed her first movie ‘Melon Head’ – a film about the importance of Helmet Safety. Her film was proudly entered in numerous film festivals.
Now 13, Aurora has garnered attention for her latest short, ‘Grape’ - a film she wrote, directed and stars in – bringing to light the dangers of vaping. A serious addiction risk to children and teens. ‘Grape’ has received rave reviews and has been recognized at film festivals globally – including the world-premiere in Beverly Hills where Aurora was awarded ‘Best Up and Coming Actor’ at the 15th annual Lady Filmmaker awards. As well, her film received a nomination for ‘Best Social Impact Film.’ At the Mammoth Film Festival, Aurora was nominated for ‘Best Actress in a Short’ and walked away with a Mammoth in Ice trophy for being the ‘Youngest Filmmaker in Attendance’
Since then, Auroa starred as ‘Abby’ - the lead role in ‘Magic Chalk’ - a film for the not-for-profit charity ‘Rize Up’ helping mostly women and children and has also been nominated by the 45thYAA Awards for ‘Best Actressin a Short Film’
This was a wonderful chat with Aurora Iler. Mike and Joey really enjoyed chatting about her process as an actress and filmmaker. 'Grape' sends a clear message and offers insight into the vaping addiction crisis among youth not only in Australia but world-wide!

Award-Winning Canadian actor Logan Aultman joined Mike and returning cohost, from 'Son of a Critch'. - actress Sophia Powers to ConversationsRadio Ep.169!
Logan Aultman is a young Canadian actor. After participating in musical theater classes he started acting professionally with his first TV role in 'Odd Squad.' He is known for his role as Gunter in Homeschooled on CBC Gem. He was nominated for this role as Best Supporting Actor at the Toronto Web series Festival.
Logan can be seen in the Nickelodeon movie 'Snow Day' as Eli Welch on Paramount+. Logan also voiced the character of Charlie Sloane in the Audible Original Anne of Green Gables alongside Catherine O'Hara and Victor Garber. He also enjoys writing stories with two stories published in Canadian anthologies.

Actress Maya Le Clark Joined Mike and cohost, Actress Kensington Tallman on episode 168 for a chat about her career and her role as ‘Chloe’ on ‘The Thundermans Return’ – now streaming on Paramount+. A native of San Diego, California, Maya began auditioning at a young age. By the time Maya was born she had already taken dozens of rides to LA for her big sister’s jobs. She was just shy of four years old when she put her hands on her hips and said, “Why don’t I get to audition?" Before long, she caught the bug and began auditioning for roles.
A few weeks later, she brought that sweet sassiness into the Chloe Thunderman audition and the rest is history. May has also appeared as young ‘Cleo’ in ‘The Suicide Squad’ and is known for her recurring role as ‘Bria’ on Nickelodeon’s ‘Knight Squad’
When Maya is not auditioning or in front of the camera, she is cuddling with her dog, Lulu, hanging with her friends, and playing competitive soccer. Mike and cohost, award-winning journalist Brooke Binkowski welcomed Radio and TV announcer Jim Thornton to ConversationsRadio Episode 167! Jim is the announcer on Wheel of Fortune! Jim Thornton is a radio and television announcer, news anchor and voiceover actor.
Based in Los Angeles, Jim is known is best known as the announcer on “America’s Game” Wheel of Fortune. Originally from Huntington, West Virginia, Jim landed in LA in 1984 at just 19. One year later, he started his broadcasting career. For those who are in the LA area, Jim was heard on a number of radio stations - including KNX 1070 as an anchor and traffic reporter.
In 2010, following the passing of long-time Wheel of Fortune announcer Charlie O'Donnell, Thornton auditioned and was chosen as the new announcer. Jim still pinches himself and loves working on the iconic game show. He also appears on 'Celebrity Wheel of Fortune and was a sub announcer on 'The Price is Right' with Bob Barker.
As a voiceover artist, Thornton provided the voice of Johnny Gomez in 'Celebrity Deathmatch' and the announcer in 'The Cleveland Show.' He has also appeared in video games, where he provided additional voiceover work for 'Hitman: Blood Money' and as a DJ in 'Mafia II.' You can hear Jim in animated features ‘Monster’s Inc’ and ‘WALL-E’ as well.
