Each year our branch of NCWNZ honours the women who see the need for ongoing work for women’s equality and the welfare of families following the achievement of suffrage in 1893. This year the focus will be on what young women think is in store for them in the future. The focus for the event is: Future Thinking: How do young women today see life for women in Aotearoa New Zealand in 2040?
A panel of young women from Ōtautahi Christchurch to speak to this topic from their own perspectives. They discuss:
What are they excited about?
What do they think are the challenges?
What are the ‘wicked problems’ for women and girls that need to be solved?
Who will solve these?
