Marvel brings the Original Trilogy era run of Star Wars comics to an end in the pages of Darth Vader (Vol. 3) #50, a weighty issue that not only ties up the recent storyline, but sets some key characters up for the future, particularly Sabé, as readers realize just how much of a hold Palpatine still has over Anakin Skywalker.
In Dark Horse Comics' The HIgh Republic Adventures Phase III #10, Sevran Tarkin takes a bold step in reclaiming not just her legacy, but her life, in a rousing story that leaves us feeling good inside, further evidence of just how good this series has been, is and will be.

Inquisitors #3 (of 4) sees Tensu Run not only realize the shortcomings of the Jedi Order, yet strive to build upon them for a better future in a deftly crafted story.

This is quite a week for masterful storytelling in Star Wars comics, with The High Republic Adventures Phase III Crash and Burn delivering a juggernaut of a story that meshes splendidly with events in The High Republic Adventures.
In Echoes of Fear #1 (of 4), Sith legend and lore mix with The High Republic-era Jedi as mystery deepens in the hunt to ward off the Nameless.
Finally, in Marvel's The Acolyte -- Kelnacca #1 one-shot, a somber yet stirring story about the Wookiee master unfolds with care and grace, providing the perfect example of a comic expanding the lore of a story borne from the moving image.

Rodney Barnes returns to Star Wars comics with his second series this year, adaptating the Ahoska Disney+ TV show. Though it, like the prior Mandalorian and Obi-Wan Kenobi adaptations, is a word-for-word telling of the series, the artwork by Steven Cummings, Wayne Faucher and Rachelle Rosenberg and letters by VC's Travis Lanham makes this issue, indeed this eight-issue mini-series, worth having.
Zeen and Lula come to a momentous decision, albeit independently of one another, in The High Republic Adventures Phase III #7 by Daniel José Older, Harvey Tolibao, Le Beau Underwood and Elisabetta D'Amico, Michael Atiyeh and Comicraft's Tyler Smith and Jimmy Betancourt. Readers are also treated to a new member of the Tarkin (yes, that Tarkin) family as Krix Kamerat takes a major gamble.

Rodney Barnes is back in Star Wars, with free rein to script the Inquisitors story and the result after the first issue is stupendous. The issue also features the return of artist Ramon Rosanas and he has been very much missed. What follows is a look inside the Grand Inquisitor and what is to come, not to mention a plethora of new Jedi.
In the penultimate issue of Marvel's The High Republic Phase III, Cavan Scott again proves he's not worried about readers' attachment to fan-favorite characters. The issue has many twists and turns but they all point to a cataclysmic conclusion in issue #10.
