New York Comic Con 2022 was held from October 6-9, 2022. Now that the con has been put to bed, this Comic Timing/CGS crossover episode goes into the minutia of what went down, from the mindset of longtime convention attendees, artist alley participants, and one first-timer. The crew consists of Ian Levenstein (haven't missed a NYCC yet!), Kris Naudus, Jamal Igle, Julian Lytle, and Donovan Morgan Grant. They discuss both positives and negatives, ranging from layout to inconsistent rules management, panel slate, the exhibition floor, crown management, and a whole lot more. In honor of the passing of Tim Sale, we here at Comic Geek Speak are digging into the archive once more. All the way back in 2006, the team of Bryan Deemer, Jamie D, Matt, Peter Rios and Shane gave us an in-depth look at Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale's Superman For All Seasons for the Book of the Month Club. And as we here in America celebrate our Independence Day, we could use some of the hope, joy, and light that this story brings forth, so it is extra fitting indeed to re-air this one.
