When it comes to a topic as vulnerable as sex, it's critical not to make assumptions. To remember that 1+1 doesn't always equal 2.
When things don't go as expected or uncomfortable emotions bubble up, lead with curiosity instead of panic or disappointment towards partners.
If not, we can start to form blocks and doubts within our intimate relationships. These are trickier to overcome than the initial discomfort of investigating it in the first place!
Let's talk about it.

We've probably all heard of how social media can affect relationships when it comes to wandering eyes or betrayals of trust but...why is there such little discussion around how it can affect relationships on a subconscious level?

In this quickie, I ask 4 questions for you to reflect on that can help you gain a deeper understanding of your relationship with sex. Our beliefs shape our reality (and especially our intimate partnerships) so it can be really beneficial to feel connected to our foundation. This helps us grow in intimacy whether it's solo or partnered.
Please note that while I do give my own responses after each question, it's best for you to pause and form your own first. Also keep in mind that my answers are by no means "correct" or a suggested standard. We each have to form the answers that feel most aligned with ourselves and what we desire for our intimacy identities!~

Calling all HSPs and people who love them!
If you identify as an HSP or resonate with some of the traits, this episode may feel familiar to you. Because of our high sensitivity, there are commonalities we share when it comes to how we experience intimacy and some of them can be frustrating to manage.
For instance, why does it take so much to calm our bodies and feel pleasure? Why do emotions come up during and after intimacy? Why can it be so difficult to just enjoy ourselves?!
High sensitivity can feel like a burden in these situations, but as we begin to understand what we need and how to ask for it, we can shift towards embracing it. Let's not forget that our sensitivity is also a gift and can make us wonderful partners and lovers. -
The goal of this short meditation is not necessarily to have an orgasm, but to help build and recognize sensations in your body! There is absolutely no pressure to achieve any outcome here. This practice can help you become more familiar with how it feels to build this energy so it can be recalled again for future experiences.
