This week on Coasthawk Talk our host Nick Swinmurn is joined by Teymour Farman-Farmaian, CEO & Founder of Slide. Slide’s goal is bringing web3 to the masses by making dApps usable by anyone, regardless of crypto or technical background. Throughout the episode Teymour is asked by Nick to dive deeper into not only the company Slide, but into the future of Web3 and its mainstream adoption. They dive into all of the aspects of the industry including how Barry initially started to see game worn jerseys as a commodity that could really be capitalized on, and how he was able to grow his connections to have better access to the product. Nick asks about all the authentication methods that Barry and MeiGray take very seriously, and Barry further explains the process of photo matching a game worn item. They talk about the collectors mindset versus the investors mindset when it comes to the sports memorabilia space, and Barry gives his prediction for where he sees this industry going in the years to come.

Dennis talks about how he moved out to Japan because of Apple, and that he loved it so much he has been living there for 13 years now. Zaza talks about how the locker room has changed today since his time playing and how players today are thinking about their future outside of the league more than they used to.
