Today’s story takes us out west, to British Columbia, Canada. On Vancouver Island, there is a small community called Whiskey Creek on the east side of the island. It has a surf shop, many campsites, outdoor supply stores, and until recently, a burger place called Bigfoot Burgers. It has a bit of an outdoorsy-hippie vibe. There are also lots of unofficial trailer parks and people who are living rough - essentially living off grid in trailers at make-shift camps. These folks struggle with drug addiction, alcohol abuse and homelessness.
