The Chest X ray. The most ubiquitous of all radiographic studies. There is a TON to them and more than I am able to cover in one sitting. In this episode we talk about a search pattern adapted from Ben Felson's Chest book.
All The Many Lungs Lines
Abdomen, Thorax, Mediastinum, Lung (unilateral) Lung (again, compared to the other lung) and Lines (invasive devices)
We talk about the radiographic anatomy and putting eyeballs on all parts of the film
We touch on the difference between a PA and an AP chest xray and why they look different.
The lateral chest x ray and specific pathologies (ie bacterial pneumonia, atelectasis) will be covered later

Thanks so much for checking this out. In this first episode I lay out the purpose and layout of this podcast.
1. Hi Im Iulian. Im a radiology resident and I love to teach. I also feel the need to make something in this world rather than just consume content others have made. I love podcasts so this seemed like a good idea.
2. This is a radiology learning podcast directed at learners less so than experts.
3. I'll be going through how to interpret basic radiographic studies on each episode.
4. There will be a non radiology recommendation each week of something I find cool or useful in my life.
5. The format of the podcast may change in the future to include interviews with guests and content related to radiology but not directly related to image interpretation like careers in radiology, subspecialties and being deployed as a radiologist.
