God often calls us to do a little bit more. Just look at Jesus, Noah, Abraham, and the apostles, who had passion and went beyond the ordinary. Small extra efforts can lead to great impact. If John and Luke had not written their gospels, how will we have all the amazing Scriptures on which we base our faith? In contrast, Judas chose betrayal, embodying traits of unfaithfulness, deception, and dishonour. Let us decide to reject fear, ingratitude, and disloyalty, choosing instead to honour God, our calling, and our leaders.

Every Christian has a ministry to fulfil. Just like how Jesus’ ministry moved from Bethlehem (birth), Nazareth (growth), Galilee (miracles), to Jerusalem (greatest work—the cross), believers must progress in their walk and ministry. We are called to use our God-given talents and not waste them. Do not let obstacles such as fear, laziness, neglect and fault-finding hinder your ministry. Let’s honour God’s anointing and boldly step into our calling to fulfil His purpose.

In The Way of Perfection (Part 4), Pastor Kong Hee shares on the importance of Silence & Solitude. After Jesus’ powerful encounter of being baptised in the Holy Spirit at the Jordan River, the first thing He did was to retreat into the wilderness—a quiet, solitary place, for divine encounter. Like Jesus, the busier life gets and the more successful we become, the more we must withdraw into silence and solitude, to grow in our spirituality.
-
In The Way of Perfection (Part 3), Pastor Kong Hee teaches on simplicity—not about having nothing, but living with less. Through the Parable of the Rich Fool, Jesus warns against three enemies of simplicity: materialism, busyness, and pride. Life isn’t measured by possessions—what if more is less? Simplicity helps us grasp “the life that is truly life” (1 Tim. 6:19).
-
In the second part of "The Way of Perfection", Pastor Kong Hee teaches on the prayer of faith—not as a one-time decision but as a continuous spiritual journey. He outlines seven steps in the practices of faith, which result in the alignment of our hearts, minds, words, and actions with God’s promises and will.

Thanksgiving is a defining characteristic of a Spirit-filled Christian—it should be our way of life! The more we are filled with the Spirit, the more our heart overflows with thanksgiving. In this sermon, Pastor Bobby Chaw shares four key truths about thanksgiving. Let your life be filled with gratitude!
-
The goal of our spiritual journey is to become a person of love through union with the Trinity. Spiritual ancients like Teresa of Avila and John Wesley describe this as Christian perfection, which is a path of love, humility, detachment, and simplicity—all centred on prayer.
In the first part of this new series, Pastor Kong Hee introduces four transformative types of prayer that deepen our interior life. -
In this final part of a 5-part series on the Spirit of Love, Pastor Kong Hee outlines 5 key lessons on loving one another from the letters of John, emphasising that John wanted to leave behind this legacy: Love is the ultimate truth and doctrine of the Bible.
-
n this sermon, Pastor Kong Hee explores the baptism in the Spirit as taught by the Apostle John. While John was a man of the supernatural, he is most admired as the “apostle of love”—a transformation that took place when he was baptised in the Spirit. To John, Spirit baptism is more than empowerment for external ministry. It is an internal empowerment that enables us to live out the New Commandment, loving others as Jesus loves.

What feels like an ending can often be a new beginning. In this year-end sermon, Pastor Kong encourages us to do three things: 1) Don’t look back; 2) Look up; 3) Look out. Our best days are ahead of us!

Everyone makes mistakes, but our failures don’t cancel God’s plan for our lives. Just as God’s light redeemed the mistakes of Thomas, Moses, and Peter, Christmas reminds us that our mistakes don’t define us—they refine us.
-
In the Gospel of John, the “Christmas story” appears right in the opening chapter. John introduces Jesus as the LIGHT, LIFE, and LOVE that came into the world. No matter how deep the darkness may be, the light, life and love of Jesus can illuminate even the darkest corners of our lives.
-
In this sermon, Pastor Kong Hee explores the baptism in the Spirit as presented in the Book of Romans, written by the Apostle Paul, often regarded as a theologian of love. Paul explains that Spirit baptism is not solely about power or charismatic gifts but is primarily about being transformed by God’s love and letting that love overflow into the lives of others. God's love is the most powerful gift in the universe!
-
In this sermon, Pastor Kong Hee shares about the baptism in the Spirit through Doctor Luke's perspective. Luke's main message is that Spirit baptism is a baptism of love—this is the heartbeat of our Pentecostal faith.
-
Dr. Niko Njotorahardjo emphasises the urgency of fulfilling the Great Commission by making disciples of all nations. He highlights three key moments of Pentecost: the First on the Day of Pentecost, which began the Early Church; the Second during the 1906 Azusa Street Revival, sparking the global Spirit-empowered movement with over 700 million believers today; and the Third Pentecost, which he believes will usher in an unprecedented global revival and a great harvest of souls, setting the stage for the Lord’s return. Let this powerful message inspire you to lay your life down for the gospel and His Kingdom purpose.

In this sermon, Pastor Bobby Chaw shares from the story of the Feeding of the Five Thousand: so often, the focus is on the multiplication of the five loaves and two fish, but the real miracle is “you"—“YOU give them something to eat” (Luke 9:13). God has chosen to work through you! As you willingly give yourself to Jesus, you will fulfill the Great Commission, reach the lost, and serve the multitudes!

“Don’t despise the day of small things,” says God.
All through time, God has called young people who may not know what lies ahead. Yet we often see that the same hands that laid the foundation will be those who finish it. We may start with nothing, but God will sustain us and never leave us. As we offer up our heart and life for Him alone, we are assured of the promise that it will be: “not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit”.
Let us say “Yes” to Jesus over and over again! -
Your circumstances are nothing more than the circle you’re standing in. God desires to turn you around so that you can be in the centre of His will.
An unusual response moves the hand of God over our lives, creating a turning point that opens the door to divine blessings and financial favour. Have an unusual response to God and witness how He will transform your situation. -
In this Special Offering sermon, Pastor Kong Hee gives another report on CHC's mission works in Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan and Japan.
Our spiritual growth here directly affects all our daughter churches there. Only when our local church is strong can we strengthen our daughter churches in mission, and preach the gospel to the UPGs. - Visa fler
