  • The Celtics beat the absolute bag out of the Raptors, 125-71 to send out 2024 in style. They got off to a slow start, but absolutely erupted in the 3rd quarter to turn this one into a New Year's Eve laugher. The shooting was better, the defense was better, and the opponent was very clearly inferior. It was a great way to close out a great year and a nice send-off before a daunting road trip that lies ahead. Chud breaks it all down and offers a New Year's resolution for the NBA and Celtics fans.

  • The Celtics couldn't pull off the mini sweep over the Pacers as they fall 123-114. That makes four losses in six games for the Celtics and it's officially their first rough patch of the season. Jaylen Brown, Payton Pritchard, and others still played very well, but Indi brought their best and took it to Boston in the paint time after time. Chud and Doug break down all the action, pass out their Chuddy Chains, and take a trip around the NBA.

  • The Celtics bounced back in a big way, eviscerating the Pacer 142-105 on Friday night. Jaylen Brown was dominant with 44 points and several highlight reel dunks. Payton Pritchard got back on track with a near triple-double and the bench brought a major spark that has been missing. It was a much improved overall effort from the entire team on both ends, leading to the biggest victory margin of the season. Chud and Doug break it all down, give out their Chuddy Chains, and take a voyage around the NBA.

  • Bah Humbug! The Celtics lose on Christmas to the 76ers 118-114. Tyrese Maxey carved up the C's defense like a roast beast and Caleb Martin was hotter than chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Meanwhile, Payton Pritchard and the Celtics' bench was colder than Jack Frost and Frosty the Snowman combined. It was a scrooge-like performance and a lump of coal for a result. Chud and Doug break it all down, give out their Chuddy Chains, and take a sleigh ride around the NBA.

  • The Celtics got battered and beaten down by the Magic on Monday night, falling 108-104 in Orlando. Jayson Tatum was a surprising late scratch with an illness and the team missed him badly. Jaylen Brown rose to the occasion but it wasn't enough against a physical and intense Magic team playing without their own star players. Chud and Doug break it all down, hand out their Chuddy Chains, and take a trip around the NBA.

  • The Celtics bounced back after losing at home to the Bulls on Thursday night, by going to Chicago and dominating, 123-98. Jayson Tatum was brilliant, putting up a 43/16/10 masterpiece with nine made threes. Jaylen set the tone by attacking the basket early, KP had one of his best all around games of the season, and the Celtics' defense was much more locked in than we saw the other night. Chud and Doug break it all down, give out their Chuddy Chains, and take a stroll around the NBA.

  • The Celtics got worked by the Bulls and the refs on Thursday, losing at home after a long layoff, 117-108. It was an off-shooting night for the C's combined with a quality effort from the visitors that ended in frustration. Jayson Tatum led the way with 31/10/6, but he was outdueled by Zach LaVine and company. If you thought the players were frustrated, you should have seen Joe Mazzulla; he almost killed a man. Chud and Doug break it all down, give out their Chuddy Chains, and take a long trip around the NBA.

  • The Celtics cruised to another victory on Sunday evening in Washington, trouncing the Wizards, 112-98. Jayson Tatum led the way with 28 and 12 while the bench trio of Payton Pritchard, Luke Kornet, and Sam Hauser provided a boost. There was a moment of panic as Kristaps Porzingis left the game and did not return with right heel soreness. Hopefully, that's not a big deal and he'll be able to rest up and get back on the court. Chud and Doug break it all down, give out their Chuddy Chains, and travel around the NBA.

  • The Celtics destroy the Pistons in a 123 - 99 win at TD Garden. No Tatum, no Hauser but there was plenty of Payton Pritchard who finished with a team high 27 points with 7 threes. Derrick White chipped in another 7 threes and finished with 23 points. Jaylen Brown finished with 14 pts 9 rebounds and 6 assists, and Kristaps Porzingis finished with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Also need to shout out All Business Luke Kornet who finished with 12 points, 7 rebounds, and sadly no on court cellies.

  • In one of the best games of the season, the Celtics took down the Bucks in TD Garden, 111-105. Boston didn't get any calls and had an off-shooting night, but they battled on defense and the Jays powered them to victory. Jayson Tatum missed his first game of the season but Jaylen Brown picked up the slack, leading the way with 28 points, 9 assists, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals while Porzingis, Hauser, and Pritchard all chipped in as well. Detroit made it a game late behind great play from Cade Cunningham and lights out shooting, but the C's were able to slam the door shut in the 4th quarter. The Cavs snapped the Celtics' league-best 7-game winning streak shortly after Boston halted the Cavs' 17-0 start to the season. It was an exciting back-and-forth battle but the bad guys made the big shots down the stretch. The Celtics fought valiantly without Jaylen Brown and Derrick White but it wasn't enough. • The Celtics got a hard-fought road win on Black Friday, toppling the Bulls in their final game of NBA Cup Group Play, 138-129. The Bulls played well and certainly didn't let the C's run up the score and boost their point differential, but ultimately there was too much Jayson Tatum (35/14/5), and Payton Pritchard (19 points in the 4th quarter). The Celtics are still alive in the NBA Cup, but they will need some help on Tuesday night. The C's have improved to 16-3 on the season and they'll take on Cleveland on Sunday for the 1 seed in the East.
