Following an awful league campaign, Gloucester signed off at Kingsholm with a win over Newcastle Falcons. We chat through the game, the positives and how we should view a win over an obviously poor opposition. Meanwhile, Gloucester-Hartpury continue their unbeaten run and secured top spot in the PWR. Finally we continue the Challenge Cup final build up. Ed Price and Jim Harley

Just when we thought it couldn't get any worse...
A record all-time defeat for Gloucester, losing 90 points to nil away to Northampton Saints. There have been plenty of excuses trotted out to account for the dreadful league form and in particular this most embarrassing defeat. We discuss them and try to work out if any are 'legitimate'.
We also chat through the new laws that are coming into force next season and whether they will improve the game as desired.

Gloucester Rugby are heading to Tottenham after beating Benetton Treviso in the European Challenge Cup Semi-Final. We discuss the vast improvement on the previous week and the key performances, before running through our opponents in the Final - Sharks after their comeback win over Clermont.
We also chat about the Champions Cup Semi finals before pondering whether Stuart Barnes' Times article was too harsh or simply echoes our thoughts...we're scared too kids!

Firstly an apology as we have decided to leave a lot more of the swearing in this weeks pod, but we are sure you understand why.
Gloucester lose another league game, this time to Exeter Chiefs, but it was the manner of the defeat and the apparent contempt shown to the Season ticket holders that grates most. Four very angry Cherry Jammers discuss the match, the atmosphere at Kingsholm, where this leaves George Skivington and whether a defeat to Benetton would spell the end of his now 91 league game tenure.
We also try to lighten the mood by chatting through a great win for Glos-Hartpury in the 3rd/4th playoff of the Allianz Cup; another Grand-Slam for the Red Roses and what Billy Vunipola gets up to on a night out in Majorca.

Back to the league again and another defeat - this time expected as a young and much changed Gloucester side lost away to Saracens. However a plucky final 10 minutes took advantage of some sloppy Sarries play and secured a Try bonus point.
We chat through the game, whether the squad selection was the correct one is probably still to be decided, but we do have a discussion on the rights and wrongs of picking that many inexperienced players.
We also discuss the latest Red Roses win, a thrashing of Ireland at Twickenham - but ponder if the lack of any real opposition is going to harm the development of the women's game.

Gloucester's incredible run in knock out competitions continues with a Quarter Final win over Ospreys. It means a Semi Final against Benetton Treviso in early May. We chat through the game and how the club might need to prioritise the Cup at the expense of the remaining league games.
We also round-up the whole weekend of European fixtures, including Quins incredible win over Bordeaux. Ed gives his review of his experience at the Aviva and before we also remember two famous matches that were played at this time of year in 1996 and 1997 respectively.

After a week off, we are back to review the whole weekend of European Rugby as Gloucester reach the Quarter Finals of the Challenge Cup following a hard fought win over Castres at Kingsholm. We also chat through the previous weeks league defeat to Bristol, before discussing all the games and the Quarter Final prospects in both European competitions.
Finally find out why we have been trolled and blocked on Twitter by The Times and Sunday Times Chief Rugby writer!

This episode is dedicated to the memory of Ruby Cole, a young Gloucester supporter who tragically passed away last week. All our thoughts are with Jo and Neville at this difficult time, as well as all of Ruby's family and friends.
There is a Go Fund Me page, in memory of Ruby, aiming to raise funds for Great Western Air Ambulance. The link can be found below.

Gloucester Rugby defeated Leicester Tigers at Welford Road for the first time since 2007 after a battling display and a late Stephen Varney try, but the focus was very much on Zach Mercer who put in a performance that showed exactly why he should be in the England squad and why he is so important to the team.
We chat through the game, the performance and why once again the style of play and attacking intent is so important.
In the second half of the pod, we discuss the TMO issues from last weekend, the Women's Six Nations first round and preview our next game against Bristol.

After 9 long years, Gloucester once again win some silverware after beating Leicester in the Premiership Cup Final at a raucous Kingsholm. We chat through the game, the performances that made a difference, the atmosphere and even the music. We also discuss the final weekend of Six Nations action, including a review of another encouraging England performance - all be it, in a narrow and controversial defeat away to France.

After five long years of generally seeing England put in average performances (all be it, with some good results) finally a performance to be proud of as the men in white ruined Ireland's Grand Slam dreams. The lads chat through all the Six Nations action, including Italy's deserved win over Scotland and a resurgent French side hammering Wales.
Meanwhile we also chat through Gloucester-Hartpury securing a home semi final with yet another win, this time over former Champions Harlequins. Finally we preview the Premiership Final this Friday at Kingsholm.

A massive thank you to everyone who sent in some questions over the past week. We have decided to focus on the quick fire ones this time round as we want to make sure we have a full house for the more 'in-depth' questions.

A hard fought win for Gloucester over defending Champions Exeter means the Cherry and Whites have reached their first Final since 2018 - a win for Leicester away to Ealing, means that Kingsholm will be the venue. We discuss the performances, the win and how the cup competitions continue to give us hope for the season.
The lads also chat through the England A squad announcement, the u18's Finals Day, rumours and important re-signings plus Glos-Hartpury making it 10 out of 10 in the league to finally reach the top this season.

Another superb comeback for Gloucester Hartpury as they overturn a large second half deficit to beat local rivals Bristol. Jim takes us through the game and the importance of keeping this unbeaten run going.
Elsewhere, in the Six Nations, England managed to sneak a win over a young Wales side, Ireland eased passed a disappointing Italy while Scotland were robbed of a last second win over a disjointed France by a very controversial TMO decision. The main part of the pod though this week is our discussion around ideas that could improve the game as a whole.

Just when we thought we would be having a relatively quiet few weeks discussing the Six Nations and the Glos-Hartpury women's fixtures, news broke of potential Saudi investment into Gloucester and three other Premiership clubs. The guys give their honest opinions on the issue, before chatting through Gloucester-Hartpury's incredible comeback win over Leicester Tigers Women, the Six Nations week one results and why we were definitely robbed at the Sports Podcast Awards.
Finally our deepest apologies go out to all of our American listeners, we promise the NFL chat will get better!

After 100 days, 9 consecutive league defeats and lots and lots of misery the Cherry and Whites finally managed to put in a decent performance to beat an all be it depleted Sale Sharks side. The lads chat through the performance, the improvements, the key players and the much needed perspective to the result.
We also discuss the upcoming Premiership Cup Semi Final and ask whether we do our very best to win the competition, or maybe sacrifice it for the chance of something greater in Europe.
Finally we give our Six Nations predictions and talk through the chances of an upset in Rome for England.
