    Peach Pit Recipe:

    - 2 cups frozen peaches

    - 1 1/2 cups cooled green tea***

    - 1 cup ice

    - 4 oz light rum

    - 1.5 oz elderflower liqueur

    - juice of 1/2 lemon

    - Gummy bugs for garnish

    Add ingredients (minus the bugs) to a blender. Blend till smooth and pour into your glass of choice..

    ***Brew tea bags (2-3) by steeping in 12 ounces hot water for up to 5 minutes. Remove and discard tea -bags and chill completely.

    - 2 dashes of Angostura bitters

    - 1 maraschino cherry for garnish

    Add whiskey, vermouth, and bitters to a shaker with ice. Stir well and strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with cherry.

    The Citrus Kickflip Recipe:

    -¾ oz vodka

    -¾ oz Soju

    -½ ounce fresh lime juice

    -1 oz peach schnapps

    -1 oz jalapeño simple syrup*

    -2 oz fresh grapefruit juice

    -Ice

    Blend all ingredients with ice and enjoy!

    *Make the syrup by combining 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar with one jalapeño sliced. Bring mixture to a simmer and cook for 15 min. Remove from heat and let cool.

  • Folks roamed the Earth like big rolling kegs, they had two sets of arms and two sets of legs - sign us up! This week Raven and Campbell discuss predatory relationships, stage presence, and stylistic storytelling in the 2001 film adaptation of Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

    The Angry Inch shooter recipe (makes 2):

    - 2 oz vodka

    - 1 oz triple sec

    - ½ ounce fresh squeezed lime juice

    - 1 oz jalapeño simple syrup*

    - 1 cup granulated sugar

    - 1 German beer

    Shake with ice. Serve in a large shot glass and drink with your favorite German beer of choice.

    *Make the syrup by combining 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar with one jalapeño sliced. Bring mixture to a simmer and cook for 15 min. Remove from heat and let cool.

  • We are not Englishmen! Despite that fact, Raven and Campbell spend this episode discussing issues of social mobility, fun facts about the Royal Navy, and the antics of Lil Buttercup in the 1982 made-for-tv production of HMS Pinafore or, The Lass Who Loved a Sailor.

    The High Seas cocktail recipe:

    - 2.5 oz spiced rum

    - 1 oz lemon juice, fresh squeezed

    - 2 oz pineapple juice

    - 0.75 oz blue curacao

    - 0.75 oz syrup

    - 0.25 oz saline solution

    Shake with ice. Serve in tumbler over a large ice cube.

    Make the syrup by combining 1 part water, 2 parts sugar with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and rosemary in your preferred proportions. Bring mixture to a simmer and cook for 15 min. Remove from heat and let cool.

    Make the saline solution by combining 4 parts water to 1 part salt.

    The Drink Around the World-inator Recipe:

    - 2 oz sake

    - ½ oz St Germaine

    - ½ oz orange liqueur

    - 2 oz fresh grapefruit juice

    - ½ oz fresh lime juice

    - ½ oz agave syrup (or simple syrup)

    - Himalayan salt

    Rim a glass with Himalayan salt. Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Strain in salted glass over ice and enjoy!

  • Come together, right now, over we (That’s a Beatles reference, Raven). This week Raven and Campbell discuss not-so solid character introductions, psychedelic induced visuals, and the music-invasive species known as The Beatles in the 2007 musical film, Across the Universe.

    Strawberry Jams Recipe:

    - 1.5 oz vodka

    - Fresh lemon juice (about half a lemon)

    - 10 Fresh strawberries or frozen

    - Granulated sugar to taste (we used 1-2 tsp)

    - 2 tsp bloomed chia seeds*

    In a blender, combine lemon juice, strawberries, and sugar until fully blended. Mix in chia seeds. Pour into a glass over ice if using fresh strawberries or as is if using frozen strawberries. Add vodka and stir. Enjoy!

    *Blooming chia seeds is super easy. Take about 3 tbsp of chia seeds and allow them to soak in 1 cup of water in the fridge for 2-3 hrs or overnight.

This week Raven and Campbell are joined by resident bard, Dan, and together they discuss surprise jukebox musicals, goofy ass CGI, and the withholding of medical information in the 2001 musical movie, Moulin Rouge.

    The Green Fairy Recipe:

    - 1 oz absinthe (or gin if that’s not your thing)

    - 1 oz chilled water

    - 1 oz simple syrup (at least 2:1 ratio or double the amount)

    - 1 oz fresh lemon juice

    - 0.5 oz aquafaba

    - A few dashes of aromatic bitters

    Shake all ingredients minus the aquafaba with ice. Remove ice, add aquafaba and dry shake. Strain into a glass and enjoy!

    - 1 oz gin

    - 0.5 oz elderflower liqueur

    - 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice

    - 1-3 dashes aromatic bitters

    - Sparkling apple cider

    Combine gin, elderflower liqueur, and lemon juice in a shaker with ice. Strain into a flute and top with sparkling apple cider. Add some bitters if you feel like it. Go crazy. Live your truth.

    The Sweet Cheese Recipe:

    - 1.5 oz vodka

    - 1 oz coffee liqueur

    - Dash of chocolate syrup

    - 2-3 oz cheese foam*

    Combine vodka, coffee liquor, and chocolate syrup and stir with ice. Top with cheese foam and enjoy!
