*SPOILERS* my unfettered review of Dating Dr. Dil. I loved learning about South Asian/Indian culture and I felt hungry 80% of the time because the food that was described sounded so good! Alarmingly spicier than expected.

*SPOILERS* The FInal Girl Support Group by Grady Hendrix. This was my first official book in the horror genre. I really enjoyed it although I am hard-pressed to understand the major difference between a horror, mystery, or thriller. I am very excited to hopefully read more horror books in the fall especially around Halloween! If you have any recommendations, let me know!

Circe is a Greek mythology epic. It's an Odyssey retelling. I didn't know Circe's stories before reading this book and throughout it I just became so endeared to her. The daughter of the Sun God Helios and Perse. Circe had a fascination with mortals and magic. Even after magic gets her sent to an abandoned island. She gets lonely but she is self-sufficent and able to take care of herself. I admire her so much.

If you're looking for a fun and light-hearted summer read, this is it! Enemies to lovers, one bed tropes. All set in the very romantic setting of Maui. Typically, I stick to fantasy but for the summer and a good in between read, The Unhoneymooners made me laugh and I loved the simple, heart filling ending.
