On this week’s episode of Bonfire Talks, Mark sits down with Producer Caelan to talk about what’s been on his mind lately. After spending the 4th of July weekend in San Diego with his daughter Goldie, the two bonded over a new Netflix show that brought back some uncomfortable memories.
Mark talks about highly competitive environments, like the one he was in as a child, and never getting the recognition that he was desperately looking for. Although his adolescent decisions led to success, and possibly even meeting his wife, he is still unable to shake the memories of not living up to the highest standard in his former mentor’s eyes. Is it better to work yourself to the bone to accomplish admiration from your superiors? Or cut it off before it seriously impacts your mental health and up brining?
