“Bleav in Steelers” host Mark Bergin shared six thoughts from general manager Omar Khan’s comments at the 2025 NFL Combine. It includes:
The preference to re-sign Russell Wilson or Justin Fields before the start of free agency on March 12. Bergin also discussed whether Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is a realistic option for the Steelers. Running back Najee Harris is due to become an unrestricted free agent. Will he return to the Steelers for the 2025 season? Who could the Steelers draft to replace him? Khan said it’s his expectation Broderick Jones will start at left tackle for the Steelers in 2025. It means the Steelers will likely have a young line with Troy Fautanu coming back from a knee injury that ended his 2024 season. Khan said several times the way the Steelers finished the season was “unacceptable.” Bergin also broke down Khan’s comments about George Pickens and Roman Wilson. The Steelers could look to the draft and free agency to bolster their receiving corps. The Steelers signed tight end Donald Parham Jr., giving them depth at that position.2025 NFL Combine schedule:
