The Milestone Pursuit podcast started in the lockdown of spring 2020 as a way of supporting people with their running when we could only run alone. It began with Mindfulness in Running (featured in The Guardian) and now provides 3 things;
Workouts, where I (Steve) record a training session for you to download and run along with me as if I'm there with you
Recovery Rambles, where I run easy around the beautiful Epping Forest and talk about something on my mind
Conversations with the Elites as part of our scheme to invest in underfunded British Elite Marathon runners.
The podcast has spawned some off-shoots in the form of:
Marathon Milestones, a podcast coaching programme like couch-to-5k but for the marathon
Early Milestones, a podcast coaching programme to support people trying to get better at 5k and 10k
The Milestone Pursuit Running Club, where we provide a community of graduates of Early Milestones with ongoing sessions to help them maintain and further improve their running fitness.
Detail are on our website and at our Patreon page
The Milestone Pursuit is an action-oriented performance coaching business, operating in running and in business. It was founded in 2015 by Steve Hobbs, British Athletics Endurance Coach, 2h30 marathoner and AC Accredited Business Performance Coach.

A collective of conversations that inspire, motivate, and encourage runners who know deep down that the world we want to create already exists. We all play a role in bringing it to life. Join former professional runner and life-long athlete, Tina Muir in this unique running podcast. We do not talk to professional runners about their wins or the Olympics. We do not talk about what shoes to wear or what training is best. Instead, we relate every experience back to you, and love to think hard about the questions you would always love to ask.
While we bring on well known guests like Malcolm Gladwell, Reshma Saujani, Ryan Holiday, Des Linden, Michael Gervais, and David Epstein, these are not the same old conversations. This feels more like overhearing two friends talking about the deep conversations that weigh on our hearts daily. Join us in discovering the power of running, why our sport has always been part of humanity, and how we can use it as a tool for realizing our truest self, uplifting our communities, celebrating cultures, and taking care of our Mother Earth. -
The aim of the podcast is to discuss with each guest their journey of physical recovery and achievement after sustaining life changing injuries, or for those individuals who grew up with a physical disability or impairment and how they overcame boundaries to achieve their goals.I am keen to talk to athletes, military and ex-forces or anyone from the public who is willing to share their journey. So if you are willing to share your experiences please get in touch. Interviews are carried out by Paul Grennell BSc MCSP, a former soldier who served with the 1st battalion Irish Guards and is now working as a chartered physiotherapist with over 11 years’ experience in the physical rehabilitation and recovery field.

A funny, light-hearted look at running that's not afraid to laugh at itself and at you.

Non-elite, woke and very much weekly, your good friends Nick and Jon talk fitness, running and tech.
Expect: marathon training, nutrition and weight discussions (trigger warning for that, btw), and a lot of badly thought through equipment purchases.
Proud home of Nick's Shit Bluetooth Headphone Review. Non-pick for Runner's World 50 podcasts to run to, 2019. Please read the show notes. Ask if you'd like a Sticker. -
