Military, veterans, and family members can travel for virtually free using space-available travel, also known as Space-A, benefits. But it's not always clear how to do it and it's sometimes confusing.
Thankfully I had the opportunity to interview a retired Army spouse who she and her husband frequent Space-A travel to take vacations for virtually free, minus the cost of food, transportation, etc.

Marine Corps veteran Rico Curiel started his journey of creating a natural and healthy pet supplement company after he noticed his dog's health was declining every time he went home on leave.
Inspired by his beloved dog's deteriorating health, Rico decided to start Beast Arsenal as he was nearing retirement.

Veteran Jacob Rosales discovered how to self-publish a book with virtually no upfront money after his daughter was born with a rare ear condition called microtia and atresia.
Jacob and his wife tried to find books on how to learn more about it in an entertaining and educational way.
After having no luck finding a book that would fit their needs, Jacob decided to write one! He titled it "Little Ear Big Heart," which can be found here.
His book helps families teach their children about their condition in a fun and entertaining way through colorful and illustrative details.

Blair Thomas is an Army veteran who has helped found and start up a massive nonprofit organization that supports veterans in the Dallas-Fort Worth area called Prestonwood Veterans Organization.
Blair has been able to attract supporters from around the state as well as around the country, including some of the largest veteran organization supporters.
He has also had past veteran guests from WWII, Vietnam, and other wars, including celebrities such as Burton Gilliam from the movie Blazing Saddles, Les Castro from Faithful Friends who has trained the dogs for the movie The Chosen, and many more.
Blair and the PVO organization, through the works of God, have made a tremendous impact on veteran’s lives through serving, including helping veterans with expunging their criminal records.
