19 year old Steen Fenrich disappeared from Queens, NY in September of 1999. His 20th birthday passed, as did Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. All during that time, no one, including his parents, reported him missing. March of 2000, a man walking through a park in Queens found a faded plastic tote. Inside were human remains that someone had attempted to burn in acid. The skin and flesh were pulled away from the skull to reveal someone had taken a permanent marker and wrote the victims social security number on it, as well as a racial and gay slur.

She love animals and really enjoyed studying different religions. One religion she was fascinated with was Voudon (Vah Doon) or Vodou/VooDoo. She worked two jobs and budgeted her money to be able to afford a Voodoo mind cleansing (Lave Tet) with a well known VooDoo Priest named Papa Hector. During the Lave Tet Lucie would die.

But in the 80's Ken decided it was time to be who he really was. His life would come crashing down one fateful night in February of 1988. His teenaged daughter was a prime suspect at first.
Our True Crime Quickie is from Washington State. Two traveling nurses Josilyn and Brandy had gotten engaged to each other in 2022. In the summer of 2023 they were both working in Seattle. Hey Warriors, it's the last episode of season 15! While I was in Portland, I was contacted by the sister of a victim who's case I covered in Season 11. I covered the case of Timothy Ridpath as a True Crime Quickie because there was not a whole lot of information about it. After Timothy's sister Nicole contacted me, I found there was some misinformation in the newspaper articles that I did have to use for reference. Life had handed both Kandis and Terri lemons, but instead of being sour about it, they somehow found each other, supported, encouraged and helped each other. Through it all, they fell in love. Knowing first hand what being down on your luck felt like, the two women had opened their home to other's down on their luck. Unfortunately, this act of kindness, led to their demise.

In 1978 & 1979 Salt Lake City Utah, two gay men and one lesbian would be murdered over a few months time. It appears none of the cases are related. None of the cases have been solved either. During this time LGBTQ people were not a priority to really anyone in this state, especially law enforcement. Could these cases have been solved, I believe they could have been had some effort been put in by detectives assigned to the cases. Cases are Doug Coleman, Anthony Adams and Mona Lee "Heather" Ulibarri.
