This weeks guest joins all the way from the UK, he signed up back in April of 2021 wanting to run the London marathon and going sub 90 for a half marathon. Over the last 3 years he has lowered his 5km PB to 18:51, achieved that sub 90 half marathon going 1:29:53 at Surrey and most recently a 4 minute PB at the Abingdon Marathon going 3:24:33.

In this week's episode, Chriso and Zacca recap their weekend at the Shepparton Marathon Festival, where Chriso supported athletes on his bike and Zacca cheered on runners. Chriso also shares his training progress for an upcoming half marathon.
This week special episode includes two #teamrun2pb athletes, Scotty Kennedy and Mel Hiscock.
Scotty talks to us about his journey since joining Run2PB in April 2023. Scotty has significantly increased his mileage and improved his 10km time. As a hybrid athlete, he uses running to prepare for Hyrox, DEKA, and Spartan events.
Mel Hiscock returns to the show, she joined Run2PB back in October of 2022 and has lowered her 5k time from 23:50 down to 22:15 and her half marathon time from 1:57:35 down to a new mark of 1:46:56 set over the weekend, we hear all about that race and her recent training progress.

Zacca reflects on consistent weeks with workouts and sets his sights on increasing mileage, embracing the challenge. He also shares his experience running in the new Asics Kayano 31, discussing his impressions and the shoe's legacy with Chris.
This week's guest is Taren "Taz" Kirby, a Run2PB member since May 2020. Taz has achieved personal bests in distances ranging from 1500m to the Half Marathon, competing in track, road, and cross country races. Known for her consistency and determination, Taz faced a major challenge in mid-2023 with a breast cancer diagnosis. Demonstrating incredible strength, she completed treatment and is now cancer-free. Remarkably, she even set a new 5km PB of 26:31 in June 2024.
The episode dives into Taz's running journey, recent challenges, and her responses to Chris' "medium-quick" questions.

This week on the Better with Running Podcast, is a Gold Coast Marathon Special recap show with 2 #teamrun2pb guests coming on to share their stories from the roads
The first guest is Laura Kerlin, who last year ran 3:15:13 after a horror lead-in with migraines, this year Laura smashed it rolling a 3:08:36 which is a 7-minute PB
We hear about some of the preparations, her coach pre race advice, and a detailed race recap that includes some special moments on course with friends and family.
The second guest is Benji Hoppit, who the podcast has been following along the journey of this young runner. Last year he ran 2:54:59 in Sydney last year but we had heard was hungry for a PB at this year Gold Coast Marathon and he delivered nailing it was a negative split running 2:46 for an 8-minute PB.
Benji talks to the guys about his approach to this block, the changes he has made and then onto more details about his race day prep and the mindset he had around patience and discipline that his coach Brady Threlfall had instilled in him during their planning sessions. Benji takes us deep into the race and we hear how he was able to run through the field.
