(Trigger Warning: We had two of our favorite fans pass away this week and we talk about it.)
The only message Russell sent me about this episode is that I needed to change the song I wrote. It was too dirty. Did I? You'll never now.
This is NOT the best podcast about the Grateful Dead but we do talk about their best known album and the reasons for the sound about it.
We go through a little group therapy as Aaron's dad and Matt's mother-in-law both passed away this week and then Rob tells a story about a annoying coworker.
Then we finally get another Russ dating story!!!
Hug your loved ones this Thanksgiving and then call the beck line at 802 277 BECK.

First of all, let's be clear. Can we possibly be the best Ray Charles podcast and the best ever about this box set called The Birth of Soul, without Matt? Probably not, but three of us got together on a school night and tried.
We find out how Aaron gets his weather (wild), how my uncle was in the Miami Sound Machine, and we dive into Spotify Leagues.
Rob talks beds on the plane; you will never guess how Aaron says Swordfish. (Actually, I bet you could.) and Russell is living it up in Vegas.
Then we hear the greatest story of all time and finally drag ourselves to talk about this 53-song, 3-cd, 140-minute-long box set. Set your watch to deep sleep and join us as we talk about Soul music and why so many of these songs make us think about how we could circumcise a gnat.

Listen. I am not going to lie.
I didn't remember this ep. Russ said it was good and I had my doubts until I listened to the end when Russ said his favorite Chuck Berry song is Run Rudolph. It literally is an insane thing to think, much less say aloud.
We couldn't record this week due to me. So we found out today is the anniversary of Chuck Berry's last Live Show.
I couldn't find any of his live shows, and when I search Chuck Berry Recordings, I get something totally different.
I added an intro and then added a bit about Chuck Berry with MORE detail.... Wow. I know what the people want...
-
Folks,
We want you walk this way to a store that sells muffins and listen to us talk about Run-D.M.C and the birth of the golden age of hip hop. We are talking sleeping on planes, remembering our rolling goings, and what bag we bring on planes. Planes are definitely in the top three things we talk about on this show. I don't get it.
Then we talk about old school rap and just how great this record sounds. We are beginning a roll of great records right after we do a Ray Charles 3 cd box set next week when we cover the Birth of Soul. It came out in 91 but was recorded in the 50's. We are truly stuck in a sysphean nightmare of our own making.
-
We become the best Lil Wayne podcast when we talk about Lil Wayne and Tha Carter III. No not that little wayne. Not that one either. Maybe one drafted by the Twolves comes up twice.

But before we get to the music, Aaron's ordering for the table: squash blossoms, huitlacoche, and Oreo Cokes all around. We also discuss how to handle a barking dog if you have your druthers.

School is starting. Thirty some weeks until the next summer. Everyone goes on vacation this weekend, except Rob who sits in his room and complains.
Plus Oasis is back in the news by announcing a new tour and the text chain is alive with people wanting to go. This release is dedicated to everyone who tried to buy tickets and it turns out Ticketmaster still hasn't quite mastered selling tickets.
Also, I have no idea what happened in this episode, I will be listening with you.

Good morning! The anticipation for this week's episode is palpable. Unfortunately, we don't know what record we are covering today.
So, before we get to the album, we tentatively jump into a mosh pit of live concert discussion with some ticket-buying advice, a breakdown of Def Leppard's hits, and an address about whether it's okay to wear a band's T-shirt to a concert. We also celebrate a game-winning shot, relive the Olympic viewing experience, and order some meat thermometers for a B-to-B experience even Randy Moss would call a disgusting act. Rob, one big nut or one tiny nut?
Then at (57:00), the podcast gets stronger, and we become the best podcast about Kanye West and the 204th greatest album of all time, Graduation. We discuss the stadium rock influence on this album, the records that influenced Kanye, and whether this album changed perspectives on what is possible in rap music (at least according to Wikipedia).
Next week will be a wild world when we become the best Cat Stevens podcast and best Yusuf Islam podcast and discuss Tea for the Tillerman.

We also chat about our signature moves and dream jobs and share a review of the Foo Fighters concert.

Hey everyone,
This week we hit our second A Tribe Called Quest Album and we pretty much become the best podcast about Midnight Marauders. We are talking USA up all night, Jock Jams, and the time Rob went to Military School.
Aaron talks about Rucking and Rob talks about talking about getting horny. Everyone thinks its normal that Aaron orders messed up stuff at the ball game and we go over the insane music choices our nephews are making.
Then we go over Midnight Marauders and talk about how this album is a little more grown up than Low End Theory but still fun. Then Rob talks about talking about being horny again.
Next week, we have Bjork with Homogenic and no one will get sick during the recording of the podcast.
