Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané looks like he is headed to Galatasaray in a stunning move that not many would have predicted. After being linked to Arsenal FC, Tottenham Hotspur, and a few other clubs, it was assumed that the Germany international would either choose to sign a new contract with Bayern Munich for lesser wages than what he had been making...or wait until some club in England would make him a better offer.
From what we know, the proposals from the Premier League did not come in, Bayern Munich’s revised contract offer was still not suffice, and the winger had to start exploring his other options...like Galatasaray.
So, let’s talk about it how it happened, why it happened, how Sané will be remembered, and the historical impact he had at Bayern Munich in this special edition of Bavarian Podcast Works.

Germany and France hooked up for what was a very intense and competitive match, but France was just the better team during a 2-0 victory over the host Germans.
While it is not the end of the world, there were some cracks in the foundation for Germany, which were exposed over the past two games. Poor finishing, an inability to prevent quick counter-attacks, and some coaching issues plagued Germany through each of its two games.
Let’s talk about all of that and more on the Bavarian Podcast Works — Postgame Show. This is what we have on tap:

The German national team — and its Bayern Munich contingent — will have its hands full in trying to deal with a France side, who probably feels as if it needs to show a little something extra after falling to Spain, 5-4.
This is a high-powered match-up, which might be a little too hot to handle for Germany at the moment. Let’s get into it — this is what we have on tap for this edition of the Bavarian Podcast Works — Preview Show:

Well, it’s over.
Bayern Munich lost out to Liverpool FC in the race for Florian Wirtz.
It was a choke job of epic proportions, which we have not seen the likes of since the tortoise and the hare. Instead of integrating one of Germany’s best players, Bayern Munich will slide down a level of player to try and find a player or two who can inject some life into the attack without disrupting the good things that Bayern Munich already has going.
So...let’s talk about what happened, what went wrong, why Wirtz ultimately chose Liverpool and where Bayern Munich might go from here. It could be a cruel summer...
