Harmful and harmless trash best characterizes this week's news. We react to Trump's 99 min address to Congress and the ways the Democrats "resisted". Shana (bravely) recaps Love is Blind and we discuss Cynthia Ervio's night at the Oscars as well as her being named a headliner for World Pride.
Later in the show, we explain when it's ok to avoid coming out to a family member and if pretty privilege should excuse another queer person's ignorance. Plus why you should never judge a stud by her past.

After the last few weeks of mess in the news, we are bringing positive stories to your eyes and ears. We breakdown the 'Conception Begins at Erection' Bill, Amber Ruffin shares accountability in not coming out sooner and share our favorite highlights from the NAACP Image Awards. Trigger warnings, politics and culture. Hate to start the episode this way, but we are 30+ days into the Trump Administration, and it's just mess. RIP to Sam Nordquist, the violence against the Trans community needs to end. Then we review Love is Blind season 8, A'Ja Wilson's shoe line, Super Bowl Halftime Show, and Shana attends Unrivaled.
In AIABQ? Shana and Kris fight to keep it together while giving advice on using lube, codependency and coming out journeys. Bad Queer opinions about sticking around for Love is Blind's incredibly small LGBTQ storyline and fighting back in politics.

Last week was possibly the longest short week ever.
The Trump administration started as chaotically as expected with the signing of countless Cheesecake Factory–menu–looking executive orders attacking everything from DEI to undocumented immigrants.
In other news, the inaugural season of Unrivaled basketball kicked off with a bang and the GLAAD Media Awards were announced and included some of our favs.
Have the Gays 4 Trump found us? We answer a few eyebrow-raising questions in Am I A Bad Queer and end with some timely Bad Queer Opinions.
Shoutouts:
Kris:The 7-10 Split: A Spicy Rivals to Lovers Sapphic Small Town Sports Romance - By Karmen Lee.

Hard launch January continues with the (mostly) predictable fate of Tiktok dominating the news week along with LA wildfires aftermath, and The House passing an amendment to Title 9 to ban trans students from women's sports.
Lawbrey "Drake" Graham reaching new heights of Karen with his federal defamation suit against UMG over "Not Like Us".
In Am I A Bad Queer? we discuss problematic entertainers, jealousy against other queer people who are living freely, and when to share your kinks with your significant other.
For Bad Queer Opinions, Shana emphasizes the need for platonic friendships for same gender loving people and Kris loves that she doesn't know so many queer folks.
Shoutouts:
Kris: Karine Jean-Pierre - farewell for now. Jean-Pierre gave 306th and final briefing this week. I’m happy she will be able to spend more time with her family. Of course we have to discuss Beyoncè Bowl and Shana's predictions for Bey's Jan. 14 announcement.
In our Bad Queer Opinions, the best friend to girlfriend/wife pipeline is discussed and Kris comments on a viral video shitting on queer women.
