In the 37th episode of the Backstage Podcast David and Jurij spoke with Rowan Goejiers, a friend they met on a vinyl market while working on their entrepreneurial exchange in Berlin back in 2022.
Since then Rowan has worked on countless events as production crew, gaining skills in building up stages of various sizes, shapes and decorations. All while observing the broader needs of event management. Following his passion for music and big events and seeing the product market fit, he now founded his own brand Supreme Scents, which focuses on providing various smells to enhance the experience of eventgoers.

In the 34th episode of the Backstage Podcast, our guest was Niels Van Loo. Dutch-born and Berlin-based, Niels began his musical journey in 2018 as an intern at the renowned Amsterdam venue De School. Later that year, he moved to Berlin and joined the artist agency Odd Fantastic as a production assistant. His responsibilities included booking travel, arranging visas, organizing tours, and managing all production-related matters.
Currently, he works at Frills as a booking manager, handling bookings for Tom Trago, Parallx, Afem Syko, Miura, gome, and Alva. Once a year, he also takes on the role of artist care at the Crave Festival in The Hague.
In this episode, you’ll learn about Niels' approach to global bookings, how he remains effective under pressure, and the importance of maintaining respectful communication, regardless of the circumstances.

V enaintrideseti epizodi smo povzeli dogajanje v obdobju po koncu prvega dela izmenjave. V Ljubljani smo le nekaj dni po vrnitvi organizirali dva dogodka, prvega v Zorici v sodelovanju s Consuleom (Vid Benjamin Krajnc), drugega v Klubu K4 s Kibernet Kriminalität, kjer so v goste prišli rezidenti katalonske založbe Kompound.
Še preden smo se uspeli privaditi na domače okolje, je sledil odhod na festival EXIT. Brez predaha smo se odpravili na festival Butik, kjer smo nudili logistično podporo in prevzeli vloge dveh stage managerjev in treh artist hospitalityjev. Neposredno po tednu Tolmina smo se odpravili v Benetke, kjer smo prespali in se takoj naslednje jutro odpravili v Berlin, kjer nas je pred odhodom v Stuttgart čakal še zadnji teden pisarniških priprav za WET Open Air Festival, ki se je nato zgodil v soboto 30. julija.
Novost od sedaj bodo objave vlogov večjih projektov na YouTubeu, govorili pa bomo, bolj ali manj pokrivljeno, v angleščini.

V trideseti epizodi smo povzeli dogajanje v obdobju med kratkim premorom v Sloveniji in obiskom nizozemskega festivala Free Your Mind v Arnhemu in še nekaj ostalih dogodivščin.
Glavni razlog obiska festivala je bilo gostovanje znamke HYTE, pri kateri delata Jurij in David, in snemanje kratkega aftermovieja (Maks). Opisali smo našo izkušnjo ozadja festivala, kjer se je tekom konca tedna vsak dan zbralo preko 17.000 obiskovalcev.

Četrto sezono bomo snemali v sklopu podjetniške izmenjave Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs. Pot nas je vodila v Berlin, kjer smo si poiskali mentorje na določenem področju glasbene industrije. Izmenjava bo trajala do konca junija z možnostjo podaljšanja v jesen.

V 24. epizodi je bil naš gost Vid Benjamin Krajnc, ki je glasbo začel ustvarjati pod imenom Herflex, zdaj pa se vse bolj posveča svojemu prvotno stranskemu projektu z imenom consule. Kako ga je pot pripeljala od progresivnih ritmov do bolj umirjenih melanholičnih lo-fi skladb in na kakšen način ga pri ustvarjanju navdihuje zgodovina boste izvedeli v prijetnem pogovoru.

V 23. epizodi smo gostili prvi obraz mlade slovenske rock skupine Joker Out, Bojana Cvjetićanina. Pogovarjali smo se o njihovem novem vadbenem prostoru, kaj njemu predstavlja glasba, ločevanju komentarjev publike na relevantne in nerelevantne in procesu ustvarjanja videospotov.

V 22. epizodi smo se spomnili tretjega Obzorja, v katerem smo v Smlednik pripeljali francoskega producenta Jusaïja. Našteli bomo vse, kar je šlo narobe, kako so potekale priprave in kakšni so bili občutki po finančno neuspelem projektu. Smeh zagotovljen.

Drugi gost tretje sezone je Klemen Štular Breznik, ki ustvarja pod imenom NVADRZ. Klemen je producent elektronske glasbe, ki se je do sedaj najbolj našel v dubstep vodah. V zadnjem času je sodeloval z industriji znanimi imeni kot sta Ray Volpe in Crankdat. Diskografija zajema tudi izdajo na kompilaciji založbe Disciple. V pogovoru se spuščamo v teme kot so pomembnost zgodbe za projektom, povezovanje med posameznimi žanri glasbe in pozitivnih učinkih mreženja znotraj industrije.

V novo sezono smo vstopili z eno vodilnih osebnosti pri organizaciji DrogArt in Inštitutu Zajčja luknja, Mino Paš. V pogovoru smo razvijali teme kot so jemanje različnih substanc na glasbenih dogodkih in v življenju nasploh.
