Gabrielle Lansner is an award winning filmmaker, choreographer, and pro- ducer whose work is influenced by her background in choreography and performing. Her films have screened at dozens of festivals worldwide and garnered multiple awards.Her latest short film, I AM NOT OK is an experimental dance film inspired by the words of Tiffiney Davis, Executive Director of the Red Hook Art Project in Red Hook, Brooklyn. It is currently on view at the Brooklyn Mu- seum’s, Brooklyn Artists Exhibition until January 26th, in the Video Room.
In 2020, she wrote and directed her first short narrative film, Lullaby to Love. She is also in the early stages of development for her first narrative feature film, STILL LIFE, which she has penned as well.
Her film, the birch grove, 2015, had a successful festival run, screening at the Newport Beach Festival, the Cannes Short Film Corner, and Dance on Camera at Lincoln Center, to name a few. The film won the Grand Jury Prize and Best Experimental Film at the Underexposed Film Festival in Rock Hill, S.C. and composer, Joel Pickard, won Best Original Score from the International Fine Arts Film Festival in Santa Barbara.

Taiwanese-American conductor Tiffany Chang garnered recognition through two Solti Foundation U.S. Career Assistance Awards, the OPERA America Grant for Women Stage Directors and Conductors, LIT Talent Awards, and The American Prize in Opera Conducting.Tiffany’s been engaged by the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Washington National Opera, The Dallas Opera, Portland Opera, Minnesota Opera, and Opera Columbus. Her other engagements include BlueWater Chamber Orchestra, OperaHub, College Light Opera Company, Dinosaur Annex New Music Ensemble, Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra of Boston, Brookline Symphony Orchestra, University of Missouri-Kansas City, NEMPAC Opera, among others.
Tiffany optimizes work culture for job satisfaction, promotes psychological safety for musicians, and leverages people-first leadership for artistic excellence. She authors the blog Conductor as CEO and has been an active guest speaker and published contributor for Routledge Press, Leader to Leader, Notes from the Podium, PM World Journal.
For the first decade of her career, Tiffany revolutionized orchestral programs as a conductor and professor at Oberlin Conservatory, Berklee College of Music, Boston University, and Baldwin Wallace Conservatory.

Tony Bell has made a career out of playing The Fool as a founding member of Propeller Shakespeare Ensemble. He’s launching a new role as a writer and performer of his own solo show - which recently received glowing reviews in London. On this episode we talk about projecting and protecting our voices, reinventing yourself, and moving forward.

Tony Bell was a founder member of Propeller Shakespeare ensemble which toured globally for 17 years between 1997 and 2012. The company won many awards including in both the UK and New York. Several productions toured to BAM in Brooklyn between 2003 and 2012. Tony played many of the famous fools specialising in ad-libbing with the audience as Bottom in Midsummer Nights Dream, Feste in Twelfth Night, and Autolyclus in The Winters Tale. During this time he also played The Common Man in A Man for All Seasons which won him a UK Whatsonstage award as Best Supporting Actor. Other notable theatre roles included a Tokyo Theatre’s Best New Play award for Hideki Noda’s The Bee, and West End performances in Shakespeare in Love, 39 Steps, Treasure Island and The English Game by Richard Bean. Tony has appeared on film in The Crown, Prisoners Wives, Holby City, Eastenders, and Coronation Street. He was a member of the BBC Radio drama repertory company between 2010 and 2012 playing in over 100 audio dramas including Aston in The Caretaker by Harold Pinter. In 2014 when Propeller ensemble ended and Edward Hall left the UK to work abroad (Hall is currently Director of Chicago Shakespeare Theatre) Bell focused on directing and teaching acting students at RADA and other UK conservatoires helping to launch the careers of several successful young actors in theatre and film. This year Tony returned to the stage in his own solo show about an actor’s life and his parents’ mental health issues. The show, Man In The Rain, has just been shortlisted for Best Solo Performance in the Offies (Off West End awards) and marks a triumphant return to the British stage. Rachelle Garniez is a songwriter, singer, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Born and raised on New York City’s 1970s culturally diverse Upper West Side by an American classical pianist and a European professor of French literature, Rachelle was exposed to a singular multiplicity of rich and multi-layered influences, from utopian collective free-schooling and Austrian Expressionism to the roller disco dancers and congueros of Central Park.In 1982, at age 17, she left home and spent a year making her way around Europe. By default, she picked up a guitar and started playing folk songs on the streets of Venice and Avignon. She wound up on a beach in the south of Spain, where she was adopted by the local Gypsy flamenco singing champion and began to develop a commitment to the visceral and ephemeral mode of live music. After a year, she moved back to New York, gave away all her LPs and lived in a squat on 89th Street before eventually settling in the East Village and being hijacked by an accordion, an instrument that served to connect her with an infinitely expanding motherlode of multi-cultural music.
From her first adventures as a street musician and a fixture in the 80s New York boho scene, Rachelle went on to form a band (The Fortunate Few) and has released seven albums under her own name. In addition, Rachelle’s songs have been performed and recorded by jazz artist Catherine Russell, pop singer Karen Elson, and Ingrid Lucia (The Flying Neutrinos). Besides her her own work, Rachelle has performed and collaborated with Jack White, Suzzy Roche, Sven Ratzke, Palmyra Delran, Thomas Dolby’s TED House Band, beloved bar band Mumbo Gumbo, roots-world ensemble Hazmat Modine, and sonic sorcerer Sxip Shirey. Together with Terry Radigan and Amanda Homi, she is a member of VickiKristinaBarcelona Band, covering the Tom Waits catalog in three-part harmony.

G. Augustine Lynas is a freelance artist /author who has lived and worked in New York City since 1965. Although he is an experienced graphic designer and photographer, his first love is sculpture, especially ephemeral work where time is an important element. He gained worldwide recognition as a sand sculptor with the publication of his book Sandsong and the documentary film of that name (now on You Tube). Lynas’ sculptures can be found in seven NYC parks in concrete, bronze, wood and ceramics and in many private collections. For twenty years Lynas was an adjunct professor of Communications Design at Pratt Institute.Lynas also paints, draws, designs games and writes and illustrates books including: The ABCs of Central Park, The ABCs of Brooklyn (with photographer Peter Vadnai), The ABCs of Riverside Park, The Flying Disc in Flying Colors, and several others. Lynas has now written and illustrated his first interactive e-book called Tammy & Blue and a race against time. It’s a story about a child who forgets to color her own skin. Available on iBooks.
Lynas, a pioneer in the flying disc world, is known as “Circus” because of his tendency to do tricks with Frisbees. He was recently inducted into the Freestyler’s Hall of Fame. At age 82, he is still physically active; biking, sculpting, playing table tennis, disc sports and is an avid Aerobie enthusiast. He is married, has three children and three grandchildren. Tyley is an actor, singer, recording artist and voice coach. He got his first break in his native Canada when he was cast by Pete Townshend to play the title role in The Who’s Tommy (Dora Award for Outstanding Performance in a Musical). He’s been active on stage ever since: Chris in Miss Saigon (Broadway), Lord Cannan in Finding Neverland (A.R.T. and Broadway), Tony in West Side Story (The Stratford Festival), Franklin in Merrily We Roll Along (The Shaw Festival), Simon in The Wedding Banquet (US and Asia), Jamie in the Last 5 Years (Dora Nomination - CanStage).He has been a guest soloist with a number of leading orchestras in Canada and the United States, and has released six albums: Treading Water and the self-titled Tyley Ross; La Donna, East Village Opera Company, and Olde School (Grammy nominated for Best Classical Crossover Album) all as the lead singer and co-founder of Universal Records’ The East Village Opera Company. SPOTTISWOODE is an award-winning bandleader, singer-songwriter, scriptwriter and filmmaker. For the past two and half decades, the Anglo-American has been the frontman of the septet, Spottiswoode & His Enemies. The New Yorker refers to him as a “genius” and “downtown ringleader”. With the band, he has released seven acclaimed records, performed numerous Manhattan residencies, and toured extensively from SXSW and Lille Europe to Lincoln Center.
In addition to recording with his Enemies, Spottiswoode has released four solo albums and a duo collection. His songs have been featured in a wide variety of films and television shows. He has been nominated for multiple Independent Music Awards, the piano ballad, Chariot, earning him the prize for Best Adult Contemporary Song.
Spottiswoode’s music travels the gamut, drawing comparisons to Leonard Cohen, Ray Davies, Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Randy Newman and Jim Morrison. Still, he’s very much his own man. He “evokes real emotions, sometimes different ones in a single song” (Dan Reed, WXPN).Two music videos Spottiswoode directed while at film school earned consecutive Student Emmys in Los Angeles. He later wrote and co-directed The Gentleman, a short film that played Slamdance and the BBC Short Film Festival before being picked up by the Independent Film Channel. Spottiswoode then went on to write several feature screenplays with the hope of directing them himself. However, he was too busy playing and recording with his band to fulfil the ambition. So he decided to write a musical instead...
Above Hell’s Kitchen, his rock opera loosely inspired by Mozart’s Don Giovanni, was first performed at a sold-out staged reading at Joe’s Pub in the New York Public Theater. It was then accepted by the highly competitive New York Musical Theatre Festival for six fully staged performances. Spottiswoode and his band won first prize for Best Orchestration. He has since written a slightly revised version set in London - Between The Angel And The Old Kent Road - as well as screenplay incarnations of both the New York and London stories.
By a strange twist of fate, Spottiswoode’s dream of having one of his feature scripts produced recently turned into reality. His namesake, Roger Spottiswoode (Tomorrow Never Dies, Under Fire, Turner & Hooch) read two of his screenplays. Roger, who is no direct relation, liked them both and decided to option Either Side Of Midnight, a lyrical tale of four colliding stories set in New York City over one Friday night. The film was recently shot in New York and edited in London.

One of the most sought after singers, writers, and performers in the entertainment world, Everett Bradley’s resume reads like a who’s who of show business.Spanning from multiple genres of music to theater and television, this Grammy-nominated force of nature has lent his unique blend of extraordinary talent, exuberance, and heart to every tour, session, Broadway show and TV program he has been a part of. And there have been many.
His vocal, percussion and keyboard work have included playing and recording with Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, Hall & Oates, SEAL, Carly Simon, David Bowie, Snarky Puppy, Quincy Jones, Bobby McFerrin, and presently in the Bon Jovi band.

Everett has penned songs for various listening formats. His debut album “AS EVER IT IS” received favorable mentions in Billboard magazine, his club hit “I Luv U Baby” hit #2 on the UK pop charts. He’s written for many commercials and TV shows, and most famously the theme “Feel Real Good” for the Meredith Vieira show in which he was also the musical director/ bandleader.

Kristina Wong is a Doris Duke Artist Award winner, Guggenheim Fellow and a Pulitzer Prize finalist in Drama. She’s been a guest on late night shows on NBC, Comedy Central and FX. She’s been awarded artist residencies from MacDowell, San Diego Airport and Ojai Playwrights Festival. She is concurrently the Artist-in-Residence at ASU Gammage and the Kennedy Center Social Practice Resident until 2025. Her recent “Kristina Wong for Public Office” was simultaneously a real life stint as the elected Sub-district 5 representative of Wilshire Center Koreatown Neighborhood Council and rally campaign show. She's created and directed original theater works with residents of LA's Skid Row, the Bus Riders Union, undocumented immigrants, and most recently the formerly incarcerated Asian Pacific Islanders members of API Rise. Kristina founded Auntie Sewing Squad, a national mutual aid network of volunteers that sewed cloth masks for vulnerable communities during the Covid pandemic. Their book “The Auntie Sewing Squad Guide to Mask Making, Radical Care and Racial Justice is published by the University of California Press. Her role in the Auntie Sewing Squad is the subject of “Kristina Wong, Sweatshop Overlord”— a New York Times Critics Pick that premiered off-Broadway at New York Theater Workshop. Actor, director, comedian Bill Timoney, currently performing in in the Kenny Leon-directed revival of Thornton Wilder’s OUR TOWN on Broadway, joins us for our premiere episode. We chat about life in NYC’s infamous Manhattan Plaza, his run in with Michael Jackson’s Capuchin monkey, and learn a little bit about the world of ADR. And as a bonus; six degrees of separation with Julia Roberts.
BILL TIMONEY has worked in movies, primetime & daytime TV shows and commercials, and on Broadway and in regional theaters throughout the USA. He was a regular roster member at NYC’s famed Original Improv comedy club during the stand-up boom of the mid 1980s. Bill’s best-known role is “Alfred Vanderpool” the preppie nerd of Pine Valley on the popular soap opera “All My Children.” Bill portrayed the bespectacled, bow tie-wearing Alfred from 1982 thru 1987, returning to the role on a cameo basis from 1998 thru 2005. Bill can be heard in hundreds of TV shows, feature films, and cartoons. He’s voiced numerous recurring roles on that never-ending anime program POKEMON.
