This podcast was the brainchild of Tyler Warble of SilverGate Technology to gain a deeper insight into the Interior Design industry. With the help of Jill Maremont of the River North Design District. The two came up with the concept to reach out to local Designers, Builders, Suppliers, and Solution Providers; to lift the hood on the industry and see how it works from the INSIDER's point of view.
We look forward to growing this podcast with you and thank you for taking the time to enjoy this process with us.

As a soul-led Building and Interior Designer I stand for home design that is grounded in connection, story, human-centered experiences, beauty, and artistry.
There’s a quote by Alice Hoffman - “Once you know some things, you can’t unknow them. It’s a burden that can never be given away.”
There are things that I can’t unsee or unknow having experienced bowel cancer, the end of a 20-year relationship, co-parenting as a single mum…
The unexpected gift has been discovering what it is to live a life that feeds my spirit and nourishes my soul. In doing that, realising how the design of our homes directly influences who we are and how we show up for and in life.
The exciting part to all of this is as designers, homeowners, renters, and custodians of period homes, we get to be the creative conduits for designing and creating homes that hold us in living a fulfilling life.
This is what I’ll be exploring each fortnight through deeply honest conversations and reflection.
I’d love for you to join me on the journey as I continue to explore what it means to be present, connected, and aligned. AND how these values can be embedded into our daily lives through the design of our homes. -
The Tea for Two series was created over the Coronavirus Lockdowns of 2020 and 2021; a moment when we desperately wanted to have someone round for a cup of tea and a slice of cake and were missing those previously taken for granted moments of human connection. A moment too where we wanted to be inspired and to learn and to do something that wasn't work, or just existing. Used to so much exposure to the brilliant minds of the interior design world, I felt stagnant and yes, like all of us did, a little lonely. So I decided to reach out to my network and invite them to join me for a virtual Tea for To where we discussed all things design, and life (in lockdown and outside of it). Over the series I talk to a broad range of brilliant and bold Interior designers, artists and makers from across the globe and who impart a little of their expert knowledge and invariable humour. The series was originally formatted as instagram lives but we have taken those videos and turned them into an audio series, if you would like to watch the series they can be found on our instagram or YouTube pages.
