Curt and Cindy from AdventuRetired podcast recently enjoyed this combination, discovering great restaurants, lively bars, and fresh seafood in Port Aransas before setting sail on a Carnival Cruise Line voyage from Galveston. Their journey included stops in Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios Jamaica, Roatan Honduras, Belize, and Cozumel Mexico, with memorable excursions and useful cruise tips along the way.

When most people retire, they look forward to relaxing or traveling. For Traci and Bart, retirement opened the door to a continued mission: rescuing senior animals. On their small farm in Pisgah, Iowa, they care for dogs, cats, chickens, horses, and other animals who often get overlooked. Their work is not sponsored or funded by any organization. Instead, they support these animals out of their own pockets, driven by a deep sense of purpose they describe as a calling from God.

This past summer, 25 out of 29 of my cousins on my Mother's side gathered in the beautiful family resort of Bertelson Corner out side of Bemidji, Minnesota, for a reunion that will be etched in our memories forever. The sun shone brightly, and laughter filled the air, creating the perfect backdrop for 5 days of fun, games, and family bonding.
The excitement was palpable as cousins arrived from nearby states and even farther locations, each bringing unique stories and experiences. It was heartwarming to reconnect, reminisce about childhood adventures, and share updates about our lives. This gathering served as a powerful reminder of the strong family ties that bind us together.

Tennessee is home to some truly breathtaking waterfalls that draw in adventurers and nature lovers. Among these passionate explorers are Anne and Patty, two childhood best friends and self-proclaimed cataractophiles on a quest to uncover the hidden gems of the Volunteer State. With a sense of adventure and some cozy Airbnbs along the way, they set out through the lush landscapes, eager to discover the enchanting waterfalls that grace the area.
