The audio quality isn't the greatest, but the content is fantastic. Father Murphy is one of my heroes. He changed the way I view just about everything, making my outlook much more focused on Christ and how He impacts everything. We talk about the Holy Grail, Yggdrasil, and Fairy Tales.

Kipp Davis is an expert in ancient languages and cultures. I had him on because, while I disagree with him theologically, he knows a lot more than I do about the ancient world. Also I think he tries to be intellectually honest. He's good friends with Josh, our previous atheist scholar, and they have similar views on a lot of things. It's a wide ranging discussion but mostly its about Kipp's gradual loss of faith and lots of nerdy things about the Old Testament, which we both agree is much more interesting than the New Testament.

Where does religion come from? The contemporary academy will probably tell you they don't know, then there are some who think it comes from an evolutionary process. The most exciting theory of the origin of religion is ancient monotheism, the idea that the oldest religion is a simple faith in the One Creator God, in the tradition of Melchizedek. Winfried Corduan is probably the leading expert today on this subject and he's the guest on this episode.

Hip hop artist and pastor T Barlow joins me to discuss Calvinist Hip Hop. We also nerd out on the new Turtles movie, Batman, and a host of other things.
-
One of my favorite podcasts of all time is Monster Talk. Blake has been plugging away in the skeptical weird stuff area for over a decade. We have a wonderful conversation about his religious past, science, and bigfoot (amongst other things).
-
Mike Huemer is back to discuss all manner of nonsense, mostly nuclear weapons.
-
Kyle and I get back together for a good old AK47 three hour session about absolutely nothing. We discuss Legend of Zelda, movies, philosophy, tv, working out, and diet stuff. Pretty typical really. Enjoy.
And yes Haig I know you think these episodes are too long. Get over it.
-
Dr. Bowen comes on to discuss his deconversion from fundamentalist Christianity, and his book on slavery in the Old Testament. He's a super nice guy and I hope to have him back on soon.
-
This is the long awaited continuation of my discussion about the 6 essential weird tale authors with ST Joshi. We finally make it to Lovecraft!
-
Mister anarchy (excuse me, Doctor Anarchy) is back to discuss AI. But we ranged all over, it was a great conversation, especially the part where I found out that Mike is a religious fundamentalist like me! He believes in the existence of the soul.
-
ST Joshi, the Lovecraft Guy! Actually he's done scholarly work on lots of other authors besides Lovecraft, but HPL is one of his favorites. He came on to discuss his book The Weird Tale, and we only got halfway through it so he'll be back! We didn't even get to Lovecraft, but he came up a bunch of times.
-
Paul Gottfried is here to discuss his last book on Anti fascism.
-
Mark Hemingway is one of my favorite Journalists. He has amazing taste in music, is fun to talk with, and always gives me about 30 more minutes of podcast content then he initially commits to. He also happens to be married to Mollie Hemingway. For this pod we discuss the Russian Collusion Hoax perpetuated by corporate media during the Trump years and the Columbia Journalism Review's massive indictment.
I always put together a playlist of music Mark recommends when I podcast with him. You can find it here

Oh man...Dr. Kenneth Feder! I was so excited for this episode. Feder is an Archaeologist and we discussed Graham Hancock, Atlantis, Ancient Aliens, etc. Awesome! I'm gonna have Feder back as often as I can get him. Note this episode has the explicit tag. Anyone who has ever listened to Feder knows why.
Check out his book Native American Archaeology in the Parks. He's written several wonderful books on the history of North America, weird stuff, and old stuff in general.
-
Dr. Greg Robinson comes on to explain Japanese Internment during World War 2 and FDR.
Robinson wrote a book on the subject called By Order of the President, and as I came to learn during the episode he has written other fascinating books on similar topics.
-
Mike Huemer and I discuss the problem of political authority, anarchy, and why the Republican party sucks.
Check out Huemer's Substack at fakenous.substack.com
-
Kyle helps me launch the new podcast. We talk about all kinds of stuff, from recasting disney characters to why politics stinks.
-
This is the ACG Podcast, where I Aaron Gleason, have conversations with interesting people and discuss all kinds of important topics.
