Aashiq Hill graduated from a seminary of higher Islamic studies in 2011 and taught at the institute full-time from 2012 to 2014. He has furthered his studies under teachers from diverse backgrounds and holds ijazat (scholarly links to the Prophet Muhammad) from renowned Islamic scholars.
Hill has completed a Bachelor’s Honours degree in Islamic Studies at the University of the Western Cape, along with Postgraduate studies in education. He is actively involved in lecturing at various masjids and Muslim Student Associations (MSAs) across Cape Town. An educator by profession, Hill has worked at various institutions both online and onsite and is currently based in the Middle East.
