This week, Karmen sits down with Leigh Radtke. Leigh took a risk and started her tech career with no experience in Washington D.C. in the 90s, when boardrooms echoed with deep voices and women's words often fell on deaf ears. Now, she's a leader in the technological arena at Visa. Karmen and Leigh dive in on Leigh's journey and that of the women whose shoulders we all stand upon, tracing the path from women who's only option was housewife to the bright future ahead of girls today. Leigh's story exemplifies the progression of women, showcasing the power of self-belief and the daring leap to create your own opportunities where none seem to exist. Leigh and Karmen also celebrate the boldness of self-expression through personal style in professional spaces, reminding us that the way we present ourselves is entwined with the confidence we exude and the credibility we command.

At 50 and 58, respectively, they discuss key mindset shifts like embracing aging, positive self-talk, the power of asking for what you want, and staying grounded and centered in daily life. This conversation also highlights the importance of self-acceptance and self-care, including taking care of one's physical and mental health. Katie shares her personal struggle with food and how she found a better relationship with her own body.
