Robert is as transparent as they come. As a survivor of fatherlessness, bullying and sexual abuse, he uses his story and his passion for helping boys and men achieve healing and personal abundance, seeing them set free from unjust and inequitable systems, socioeconomic walls, emotional blockages, and traumatic boundaries caused by adverse childhood and life experiences.
He is also the Founder & CEO of IAmAMan Inc., a nonprofit organization that produces products, services and support to men and boys throughout all stages of development, providing the space and roadmap for them to reclaim their authentic manhood and masculinity. Alongside his work at IAmAMan Inc., he is the author of anthology project ECHOES, which exists to humanize the lived experiences of male survivors of sexual trauma. Robert has made it his life's work to empower boys and men to become the best versions of themselves. At home, he is known as husband to Jackie and daddy to Caleb, Caden, and Ariyah.

Jason Waggoner is a singer, songwriter, living in Flint, Michigan. He was a guitarist for a regionally successful rock band out of Detroit in the nineteen-nineties. After the birth of his daughter, his focus changed to that of becoming a full time single father. He released an EP on his own label, Loredo Records, called Fools Gold in 2011. Jason toured as a guitarist for the band War and Treaty and performs regularly as a solo artist.
Since his daughter is now forging her own path as an artist, he has restarted his career, and is focused on writing and recording the best music he can. It’s a celebration!!! We made it to Episode 50 of A Father’s Heart Podcast! But, in this episode, your hosts did not break out the cake and balloons. Instead, we are bringing on Flint Community Schools Superintendent, Husband and Father, Kevelin Jones as our guest for this week’s episode.
