Murder Clinic are the stories of the world's great detectives of fiction "Men against Murder. An interesting premise, the anthology show highlights the great stories of a different mystery author each week. The show was broadcast on Mutual as a summer replacement for First Nighter from July 1942 until Sept 1943.The 1940's moved radio programming forward at a faster pace than ever before. World War 2 moved news reporting into a new realm creating greater expectations and doing things that were never done before. The same can be said for radio dramas, comedies, mysteries, and every other genre.WOR, the Mutual flagship in New York City, launched a show called Murder Clinic in 1942. Some of the famous names associated with the show include Agatha Christie, G. K. Chesterton, John Dickson Carr and many more famous mystery writers. The show introduced these great stories and their great detectives to a wider audience. The show ended in October 1943 after moving around the dial without ever really finding a permanent home.

Into Your Head is a uniquely absurd stream of conciousness comedy monologue podcast. When dry witted Irishman, acquired taste underachieving hobbiest humourist, socially awkward entirely unheard-of legally blind cat obsessive and husband Neal O’Carroll downs a generic energy drink, something reasonably interesting happens. There emerges a silver tongued* purveyor of comical monologues, absurd analogies, illogical yet impressively argued opinions and copious Two Cats walk into a Bar stories. Segments begin with no idea how the first sentence will end, or what topics may emerge. A ludicrious creative method inspired partly by radio’s Just a Minute. In the far future? Search on Archive dot org for: Into Your Head podcast Neal O'Carroll. *Asterix purely decorative
