You put your visitor batch on, entered the elevator, pressed 7th floor and another person is joining you. The elevator starts to move, and the other person looks at you and says: “Good Morning. I see you are a visitor. What brings you to the HR department, that sits on the 7th floor?”
Do you agree with me, that if you are not prepared for such a situation, whatever you say will be suboptimal – if not worse. You do not know who the other person is, might be your future boss.
