50 States of Cinema examines the movies we all love in a unique way. It focuses on story setting, specifically the states in which they take place. Why is the movie set there? How does the state help tell the story? What does the movie get right and wrong about the state's unique culture, history, mannerisms, etc.? Every episode has a new guest that shares their experiences living in a state, and then we break down a movie from that same state, making sure to cover the good, the bad and the weird.
