Money and sports, what do the two have in common? Well, obviously professional athletes make a good living no matter the sport. Typically organizations make quite a bit of money off of advertisements and even gambling. But, is money starting to have too big of an impact on competition?
Two examples we bring up tonight are from two completely different sports. First we talk boxing. Nganu vs Wilder, obviously just a spectacle right? How could this possibly even end up as a close fight? As you probably have already heard, it sure was. With many people saying Nganu got the better of Wilder regardless of the result. But why?
Then we talk Vikings vs 49ers last Monday night. The 49ers have the better overall team, coach, and arguably every position on the field. Roughly 94% of bets were placed on the 49ers to win. Imagine the loss vegas would take if the 49ers ended up winning. But that had nothing to do with the outcome right? There can't possibly be any other indications of changing games due to gambling...right?
Other than that we get into our picks for the weekend, Rio's Rangers taking game 1 of the World Series, and a slew of conspiracies and wild stories. Tune in for a good time and some unique education!

That branches into a bigger conversation about the Pac12 as a whole. USC came down to earth against Notre Dame and the entire conference still refuses to play defense.
After that things got a bit off the rails. We move into some work conversations including one important topic. Is a documentary a movie?! Tell us what you think!
Closing out we give our picks for the weekend and pray for an increase in scoring because this NFL season has been a snooze-fest.

Meanwhile the Patriots look as bad as ever, the Bronco's defense has taken the season off, and the Bears look like they have the number one pick in the bag yet again. Is Fields their guy or would they trade him and try for Caleb Williams? This conversation gets interesting.
Lastly - what does the flat earth, bigfoot, and the moon landing have in common? Ding ding thats right - conspiracy corner led by Jimmer that ends up deeper than expected.

While Herbert might be a top 7 QB in the league, Brown might not even be the 20th best player in the entire NBA. NBA money doesn't make sense. Should the Chargers and Celtics have made the move? Only time will tell.
Bronny James recently collapsed during a basketball practice at USC. Hopefully he comes back stronger than ever. Imagine your child dropping at that age and how scary that would be.
