  • With more than a decade of experience in working in the public schools supporting the well-being of students and families, Maggie Jones has been published in academic journals for her work on PTSD. With the increased demand for professional mental health services during the pandemic, school counselors, like Maggie, noticed their roles shifting. They spent much of their time providing crisis intervention for students and families.

    Simultaneously, Maggie began to notice her own emotional well-being being challenged by having to face her own mental health diagnosis. Taking a leave of absence from her job, she and her family moved from the US to the Netherlands, where she has begun to heal.
