Smart Home with Fexingo looks beyond the hype to examine the real-world economics, engineering, and user experience of IoT devices and home automation. Lucas and Luna dissect how smart thermostats, voice assistants, connected locks, and sensor networks are reshaping energy consumption, home security, and daily routines — and what the numbers say about adoption, privacy, and interoperability. Each episode takes a single aspect of the smart home — from Matter protocol standardization to the energy savings of a Nest thermostat versus a programmable dumb thermostat — and builds a conversation around specific data points and case studies. Lucas, a journalist, presses for evidence: Do smart plugs actually reduce standby power enough to pay for themselves? How do smart doorbells handle data retention policies in different jurisdictions? Luna, the engaged interlocutor, grounds the discussion in practical trade-offs — what works for apartment renters versus homeowners, how voice control fails for non-native speakers, and when cloud dependency becomes a liability. This show is for the person who wants to understand the smart home industry as investors, builders, or thoughtful consumers — not as gadget fanatics. It is for listeners who want to know, for example, whether a $200 smart thermostat is worth it over a $30 programmable model, or how Zigbee and Z-Wave actually compete with Wi-Fi and Thread. Expect no breathless product launches — only the sober analysis of a market that is more about sensors and standards than about science fiction. Can the smart home deliver on its promise of convenience without eroding privacy, and what does the data really say about the return on investment of a connected home?#SmartHome #IoT #HomeAutomation #ConnectedLiving #MatterProtocol #Zigbee #ZWave #Thread #SmartThermostat #VoiceAssistant #SmartLock #HomeSecurity #EnergyEfficiency #DataPrivacy #TechReview #Technology #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcastKeep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

The Grey Area Podcast is a CP Media Production hosted by Gabriel Smilovic, Stella Pyles, and Matthew Blackman - the generation that's figuring it out right now. Three people in their 20s at the intersection of creativity and business, navigating the ambiguous middle where nothing is certain and the rules are being rewritten.
Conversations here reside in the space between - not black, nor white. This isn't a self-help podcast. It's not a news show. It's for people building creative careers who haven't figured it out yet — and aren't pretending they have. We're not here to tell you what to think — we're here to open the floor.

On The Wisdom of Walt: The Podcast, we uncover the heart of the magic that Walt created years ago. Here, you'll enjoy stories from the talented artists and Imagineers who continue to carry Walt's legacy of leadership and magic into the world of tomorrow.
Walt Disney was a leader who saw potential in the underdog and brought out the very best in everyone fortunate enough to work with him. He led with a curious mind, a confident spirit, a courageous heart, and a constancy of character. In short, Walt embodied leadership.
While some may turn to Disney to escape, it's his proven leadership that urges us to turn to Disney as an example.
Be sure to subscribe, like, and follow along as Jeff Barnes (Dr. Disneyland) and Kristin Reinbold explore the Wisdom of Walt's principles in leadership, offering a closer look into Walt's dream of Disneyland, the sacrifices he took to achieve that dream, and how his legacy continues to inspire the world today.

The Clearing is a project to capture my current process of sense making with others - a pod for my friends (except that was a mouthful). The intention is to focus strictly on topics that interest me and people I love listening to. Aiming to avoid pieties, performance, or excessive edification. Themes may emerge. Recording and sharing is an experiment, in the hope that something may resonate usefully with someone - if so, I’m curious to hear about it.

Technology is changing everything. Trust is the only thing that doesn't. Conversations and analysis for builders and leaders who know that how you build matters as much as what you build.
In this video podcast, I give a voice to builders who implement principles as a strategy. We explore how these choices become unfair advantages—how building for user control creates word-of-mouth growth and customer loyalty, how designing for human progress reveals markets others can't see...
