Decided to run a little solo show this month. We did have a guest scheduled but they needed a little more time to work on things there side and to be honest though I'm kinda glad The guest shows take a lot more time to prepare that most realise, and not only that but because I'm often chasing my own ass trying to get things done in time I started to loose sight of the basic art behind all this and started to become frequently stressed over it.
This show reminded me why more freestyles mixes and less pre-programming is also essential to stay skilled with. I would worry like crazy thinking if i didn't put days or nights into the playlist that it would surely just turn out a bit shit, but its really not the case. Its exhausting and not sustainable to be the way I have been and I would have ended up hating the process and quitting in the long run.
So yeah long story short, I'm real happy with this month’s show despite slightly going off my goal of releasing 12 guest shows within each month of the year.

Aprils editions of The Phonk Show see us joined by another incredibly clever and talented producer whose music is so good you would almost know without being told that he represents our class of French artist.
I dont know what’s in the water down there but there has to be something that connects why the French are just so damn good at this style of music.
Yōli who originally discovered the music of Soudiere back in 2019 fell in love with the sound and began producing it. From there he’s become a key player in the scene helped develop the more euphoric and classic side of the Phonk sound.
His recent album release MOMENTUM is a perfect demonstration of how much substance this genre can hold, smacking you in the chest plate with that low end and upfront percussion but also in the feels with them orchestral & complex symphonies.
Anyway it is an honour to present to you his guest mix and to be able to sit down and chat with him and share his words on the sound.

Incredibly happy with the response to TPS this 2026. 3 months in and 3 amazing guests. A special thank you to everyone who’s locked back in this year. I hope the music has been enjoyed and the interviews have been insightful.
Anyway March brings us our next guest and as ever I am honoured to host this man. I first connected with EVIL what feels like a decade ago when I first discovered Intelligent Dirt. He actually designed my first ever piece of graphics for what became Teddy Colour and I still treasure it to this day.
Hailing from Paris but now representing the South Of France alongside Holymane. Holding down the sound in two cities I would almost crown the capitals of Dirt. Marseille & Montpellier. I was lucky enough to visit these incredible cities back in 2024 and host a show at Piñata Radio. Needless to say the trip ended up pretty wavy, but is one I will never forget.
It’s been an honour to know & support this artist for so many years, and now an even bigger honour welcoming him to the TPS spaceship. As always with the format of the show. This month we welcome a very special friend of mine, the great dane himself... Freddy Konfeddy. Me and Freddy have shared so many incredible moments in real life together, attended some amazing events and span a whole bunch of mixes together. So this show was well overdue.
Freddy's catalog of music is quite easily some of the best mixed in the game, incredibly euphoric while hitting you in the chest plate. The way he's evolved in the sound has been stunning to watch and wonderful on the ears. When I heard his guest mix, I immediately messaged him and said it was making me feel like I was on drugs. Everything from OG nostalgia to wavy pure euphoria, I could have been happier hearing it and then being able to present it to you all like this. What a blessing.
Also as you'll hear in the interview, Freddy is very near completion of his heavily anticipated Silent Hill tape. We are very excited to be releasing it via the TPS record label. Release date TBA.
I am overjoyed with how 2026 has started for TPS. It's been a grind getting the work bashed out but the sound has been immaculate so far and these interviews have been so nice to take part in.
I don't want to give away next month's guest, but as I said in the show it's going to be a dirt special. I am working on another well crafter blend of my favourite dirt classics and we call upon one of the French kings on the sound to supply a guest mix & interview.

It's pretty disheartening to look back at the date of the last proper TPS session. May 2024. Truth is I did fall off. I let life get the better of me and blamed it on a whole bunch of shit. In April of 2025 I had surgery to remove an organ which for months before and after left me feeling anxious. That anxiety made it impossible to sit in my own company and do the work that creates these shows. I tried to distract myself by being around the wrong sort of people and attempted to numb out the negative feelings with substances until it all backfired. The combination of this and the ongoing health issue put me in hospital several times.
The moral of this is that life is incredibly delicate and making the wrong choices can strip you of everything. I am so incredibly grateful to have my health & mental wellbeing back in check and to be able to work and create these sessions once again.
Shout out to my friends and family who supported my though my bullshit and all the fans of TPS who stuck around despite the absence. With that though TPS is back for 2026 and plans are set for a full 12 months of guest. Starting things off thick with Buffalo based ENOKALYPSE who is part of the legendary Phonk Around & Find Out roster.
We connected over two years ago and discussed getting this show together but it's finally here. The first guest mix and interview of the year and it went incredibly well. What should have been a 30 minute interview turned into a 3 hour recording. What started out as a chat ended in a friendship, sounds cheesy that but for real. His catalog of music is absolutely massive and stacked with bangers, along with collabs with so many heavy hitters like Von Storm, 120seven, Sheltr, Berrymane & many more. Hopefully get to meet him in the flesh this year as I am planning a trip to the US for a certain special wavy festival...
So thank you once again for bringing yourself here and taking the time to enjoy these shows. I hope you find some new music today or just enjoy classics blended to perfection. It really is a blessing to be back.

What a phenomenal start to 2024. TPS had seen the introduction and curation of UK rap, into the Phonk sound and some very special recordings off the back of that. With the help of the legendary @balamii studio we have been allowed to infuse flavour from across the board and curate new styles and feelings.
With that Teddy Colour & Bonz got booked to play in Paris this weekend just gone alongside this volumes very special guest... GOTNOTIME!

Only 6 months since the last proper TPS session got uploaded. Quite the gap but I hope the @balamii sessions have been enjoyed in the mean time. This year we plan on 24 shows, 12 TPS & 12 Balamii. The Balamii shows of course focusing on live sessions with talent in person incorporating more rappers and B2B DJ's, and the TPS sessions like this one to focus on guest mixes and interviews from those overseas.
Joining me on VOL.19 was none other than Lil Rocketman. A key player in the Phonk scene right now. Originally hailing from Boulder, with a recent move to Denver. Rocketman is an active member of the community and one dedicating endless time to bringing the people together and promoting growth artist development.
Was an honour to host this guy and sit down for a chat. His DJ skills have come along crazy fast and you can hear that for yourself in his mix.
Another amazing announcement was made during this show. TPS is running its first live event of 2024 in the heart of London. On the 17th of February you can find myself, Blubear, Freddy Konfeddy, Jake Wxsta, Glinks & Krash Dubs down at The Castle Aldgate. A huge year so far for the Phonk genre. All around the globe promoters have begun translating the music from the depths of soundcloud to the clubs, venues and festivals. World class venue, The Black Box Denver invites Phonk overlord @ryan-celsius for his debut headline show, leading to a full US tour. A first of its kind tour for the genre with support from labels such as Purple Posse & Holymob. Titling the tour "The End Of Underground" Ryan is set to truly change the game, and with that what better time to invite him onto the show to talk about it. Another 4 months passed between this show and the last but worth the wait none the less. When preparing my playlist for this I really wanted to deliver something out of the box and different. Something that could appeal to both the low and lazy Phonk fan, and a UK raver. Part of the TPS project is to elevate the genre and help it to be enjoyed in clubs, venues and festivals but the music scene can be stubborn, especially in the UK. The UK is home to some of the most refined underground music and sets the standard globally for a handful of genres. To gain the respect of the underground scene would be crazy and would open up so many opportunities for the artists behind it. So with that I present 175bpm's of Phonk.
A special thank you to all my friends out in Paris, it was an unforgettable experience to meet you all. The sound system at the DJ Sacred show was quite possible the worst thing I've ever heard but we still turned up.

Nearly four months since the TPS spaceship has taken flight but were finally back again with another inspiration session. Winter months have had inspiration and motivation limited but pushed through in the end. I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas and New Year, hope you managed to connected with loved ones and create some amazing memories. Being connected with so many in the scene so many of you have been sharing with me your thoughts of feeling low motivation so just know your not alone on that and as we approach spring time and see things become more colourful, that motivation will surely return.
It's going to be a great year for the genre just as 2022 was. Events took place that have never been done before and the music we seen released was truly amazing. This session contains some of my favourite tracks and artists from throughout the year so a salute to all those guys and speaking of events that brings us to this sessions guest. You may not be familiar with him, but your definitely familiar with his events and his amazing venue. Was a huge honour to speak with him, hear the story of how the venue and the events came to life and learn more about Denver, a leading city in the sound.
This show also marks a year of the Phonk Around And Find Out, the brand behind the iconic events which included DJ Yung Vamp, Soudiere, Backwhen and as of tonight, Ryan Celsius. A key character in the genre playing a world class venue, marking a year of incredible music.
Once again I appreciate you locking into the live sessions and showing your support. A few small changes to TPS for 2023. Firstly the show will now be a monthly session instead of fortnightly and dates will likely vary within each month.

Once again I have to say it but I really never anticipated being able to host such incredible guests. What an absolute honour it was to work with Backwhen on this show. It was amazing to be able to talk music and the culture we love. Not only is he one of the pioneers of this genre, he is also to thank for the existence of purple posse, a collective that made this genre what it is today. This incredibly talented and diverse producer has shaped the game and brought us some euphoric classics and ethereal gems. His signature sound now graces the clubs and festival stages of Colorado, and many more states even countries to come.

Damn, really never imagined playing host to guys like these. Frances legends La Phonkerie. One of the longest running record labels and collectives representing Paris. These guys have been consistently dropping tape and doing live shows for a minute. Even took Phonk music to Rinse.fm for the first time. It was truly an honour to work with these guys one this and they brought a new range of sounds and styles to the tps spaceship. After a huge gap in show uploads I'm extremely happy to give you this show. If you tapped into previous shows you'll have noticed I was going live on mode but they just weren't hitting right to me. Ive had a lot going on in terms of settling into my new city and career which of course had an effect on the show, but I now have a job that doesn't event feel like going to work anymore. I don't dread the day I return on Monday no more. I got myself I bit down about not being consistent with the show, In fact very down about it but I just had to persevere. I don't have the financial freedom like some of these other radio shows or artists do, alot of us don't. So a massive salute to you If you keep doing what you love even when these shitty systems in life are making things tough.

For this show I had to get my longest running friend involved who I met though the phone genre. Ive been chatting to Nitay for a good few years now and despite being flights away from each other, have stayed in contact. He flew out to the UK and we had a crazy time touring the place. Wanna thanks the subtle radio team for having me on for a debut appearance of the phonk show on they're airwaves. Took the opportunity to try and provide what would be a club experience of teddy colour with higher energy phonk tracks going way back in my bag. Took this mix on a journey from the heavy hitting Berrymane Sounds through to some uk dub, jungle & breaks then raising the tempo up to some of the phonk & drum and bass hybrid sounds. Had the pleasure of my Finnish friend Yari join me this week. Super excited to host the phonk shows first vinyl set I actually let Yari Open the show in honour of this and to switch things up. Anyone that knows me and the show knows I'm on CDJS or a controller but this guy pulled a clean hours set with nothing but vinyl. Some seriously impressive stuff coupled with a hard playlist. Yari has been relatively low key in the phonk scene but he's sitting on some hard tunes and is about to start applying the pressure. Follow my guy @xyungyarix.
Im currently in the process of moving house and relocating city so they're maybe a gap in the frequency of shows while I get things in order but this is an exciting move for me. Absolutely blew us out of the water with this multi genre beast still maintaining his crazy touch on phonk.
