Welcome back girlies, gays, theys & the GMAM gang đđłď¸ââ§ď¸â¨đ¤
This week itâs just the two of us, and honestly we wish you the best of luck trying to keep up ahahaha x
We kick things off with our usual chaotic catch-up before diving into a conversation thatâs really close to home as Pride Month comes to an end. Rob chats about her identity, internalised homophobia, feeling like a fraud in queer spaces, and the constant battle of learning to fully accept herself.
Of course, it wouldnât be a GMAM episode without a complete change of topic every three minutes. We get into therapy, weddings, missing our close friends, reality TV drama, self-employment, financial stress, codependent friendships, and why making friends as adults is actually so hard.
We also celebrate everything thatâs happened with the podcast recently, chat about the incredible community thatâs forming around GMAM, and talk about the kind of guests and conversations we want to keep bringing you.
And yes⌠somehow we also end up discussing a genuinely traumatic bird incident. đŚđ
We are so happy youâre here đ¤

Welcome back girlies đ¤
This week itâs just Robyn and Jess back on the couch, and as usual, the conversation starts somewhere sensible before quickly descending into absolute chaos đ¤
We kick things off with car trouble, tyre drama and a series of questionable decisions that may or may not have involved insurance fraud.
We also get into friendship dynamics, personal boundaries, and why Jess has somehow developed the reputation of being everyoneâs honorary gay best friend. We have a really honest conversation about mental health, with Robyn opening up about her experience with anxiety, medication, and the events that led to finally seeking help.
We chat about recovering from a completely burnt-out nervous system, friends stepping in when things get tough, and why asking for help is sometimes the bravest thing you can do.
Thereâs also plenty of life updates, including Robynâs laparoscopy journey, Electric Picnic outfit dilemmas, podcast editing disasters and some very extra birthday planning.
One minute weâre discussing serious life lessons and the next weâre exposing just how unhealthy our friendship might actually be.

Welcome back girlies, gays & the GMAM gang đ
This week weâre joined by Producer and Social Media Manager Kayleigh Marie, whoâs back on the couch to help us unpack the incredible response to last weekâs episode with her mum, Maggie.
We reflect on some of the powerful conversations that came from sharing Maggieâs story and hear Kayâs perspective on what it was like listening back to such a personal and emotional episode. We chat about generational trauma, family dynamics, and how our childhood experiences can continue to shape us long into adulthood.
As always, the conversation takes a few unexpected turns as we dive into OCD, intrusive thoughts, mental health, family alcoholism, medication journeys and navigating lifeâs challenges while trying not to completely lose the run of ourselves.
We also chat about grief, finding love, appreciating the people who show up for you, and some of the lessons life has taught us along the way. Naturally, we somehow end up discussing X Factor auditions, future live podcast dreams and what might be next for Give Me A Minute.

Welcome back girlies, gays, theys & the GMAM gang đ
This week weâre joined by the incredible Maggie -Producer Kayâs mam, for what is undoubtedly one of the most powerful and emotional conversations weâve ever had on the podcast.
Maggie opens up about her childhood growing up in an incredibly difficult home environment, navigating family addiction, poverty, neglect and trauma from a very young age. She shares what it was like caring for her younger siblings, the involvement of social services throughout her childhood, entering foster care, and the lasting impact those experiences had on her life.
We talk about becoming a mother at just 16 years old, her struggles with mental health over the years, and the challenges sheâs faced while trying to build a different life for herself and her family. Maggie also speaks honestly about her complicated relationship with her own mother and how love, forgiveness and family can exist alongside pain and difficult memories.
This is a conversation about survival, resilience, motherhood and finding strength in the most unimaginable circumstances.
Itâs a deeply moving episode, but as always, there are laughs, honesty and moments of warmth throughout.
We laughed, we cried, and by the end of it we were completely in awe of Maggie.
This is one of the most important conversations weâve had on Give Me A Minute, and weâre so grateful she trusted us with her story.

Welcome back girlies, gays, theys & the GMAM gang! đ
This week weâre joined once again by everyoneâs favourite Ballyfermot icon, Paige Behan, for what might be our most educational and chaotic episode yet.
After last weekâs conversation about Paigeâs journey, this episode gets into all the questions people are usually too afraid to ask. Paige opens up about her gender-affirming surgery, recovery, what life is like afterwards, and answers the questions sheâs been asked a million times over the years.
We discuss the extensive assessment process required to access gender-affirming surgery, including the multiple psychiatric assessments and medical approvals that trans people are often required to undergo before receiving treatment.
We also have a really honest conversation about fertility, with Paige speaking about finding out as a teenager that she was infertile, how that affected her growing up, and the wider conversations around fertility and family planning within the trans community.
As always, itâs not all serious - thereâs plenty of laughs, oversharing, questionable questions, and absolutely no topic left untouched đ (understatement of the year)

GIRLS WE LOSE VIDEO TEMPORARILY DUE TO A BUG WHEN DOWNLOADING đđ 5-10 mins of a blank screen audio stays and then we come back SO SORRY. (Robynâs dogs are her WiFi box)
Welcome back girliesss đ
This week weâre joined by our pal Paige Behan and itâs one of the most honest, emotional and important conversations weâve had on the podcast so far.
Paige opens up about growing up in Ballyfermot, being diagnosed as intersex, and her journey transitioning from male to female in Ireland. We talk about identity, friendship, dating while trans, and the reality of navigating relationships while dealing with fetishisation and misunderstanding from men.
We also get into the realities of trans healthcare in Ireland, including Paigeâs experience travelling to Germany for surgery, undergoing two separate SRS procedures, and the emotional and physical impact that came with it all.
Paige shares the story of being refused medical care in St Jamesâs Hospital after surgery and how she ultimately took a court case and won - after being denied treatment based on gender discrimination.
Alongside all of that, we also chat about Paigeâs MANY lives and careers đ from years working in The George to going back into medicine and her dreams of medical school (sheâs gonna change the world of trans healthcare in Ireland) đ đ
As always, even with the heavier conversations, thereâs still loads of laughs, chaos and completely unhinged moments throughout.
We love you divas, thank you always for the love đ

Welcome back girliesss đ
This week gets a bit more emotional than usual as Jess opens up about the heartbreaking loss of her dog and the impact itâs had on her mentally. We chat honestly about grief, anxiety, OCD, and the reality of trying to keep functioning when your brain is absolutely not cooperating đ
We also get into advocating for yourself medically, smear tests, sexuality, mental health struggles, and the frustration of trying to actually get help when the healthcare system feels impossible to navigate. Robyn talks about her laparoscopy journey and the anxiety around surgery, while Jess shares her decision to finally seek psychiatric help.
Obviously in true GMAM fashion⌠thereâs also complete chaos throughout. We spiral into Mickâs mattress disaster, the truth behind the bob haircut, bikini panic before holidays, our new fitness challenge, and why Adam might secretly be the funniest person alive.
Itâs emotional, funny, slightly unhinged, and very very honest / basically like a FaceTime call with your friends when everyoneâs oversharing.
We love you divas, thank you always for the love đ

Welcome back girliesss đ
This week weâre joined by Liam Leonov Senior PR Account Executive, festival survivor, professional yapper, and unfortunately someone who enables Robynâs delusions daily â¨
We get into EVERYTHING - from working in PR, creator trips, brand chaos and viral campaigns, to the reality of trying to survive the influencer world without completely losing your mind.
Thereâs chats about Electric Picnic, Primavera, travelling to Japan & Korea, Berlin karaoke nights, and the absolute madness of real-time content during festivals. We also spiral into conversations about Lizzo, Stormzy, AI ethics, bot followers, TikTok Shop, and why everyone suddenly thinks theyâre a PR expert online đ
We also get a bit deeper talking about health anxiety, relationships, mental health, work stress, and the weird pressure of always being âonâ when you work online or in media.
Naturally thereâs also completely rogue tangents - including husband Adamâs expensive water taste, Irish tap water debates, Klarna addictions, work email scams, air fryers, world geography and festival plans that probably shouldnât be allowed.
Itâs chaotic, funny, slightly existential, and VERY chronically online.
We love you divas, thank you always for the love đ

Welcome back girliesss đ
This week weâre talking ALL things hygiene, routines, and the habits we genuinely thought were normal⌠until we said them out loud and realised maybe not everyone is living like this đ
Weâre comparing our day-to-day routines (and judging each other heavily) -from weekly bed sheet changes, nightly showers and fresh pyjamas, to Robynâs very specific sock rules that absolutely cannot be questioned. We also get into the chaos of growing up with brothers who think Femme Fresh is apparently for the whole household???
We answer your questions too đ from dealing with constant bad news and stress, to how we attempt to keep our lives together - plus chats about festival season, upcoming guests, and why Jess physically cannot relax unless her house is spotless.
Caitlin joins us on mic as well with some VERY rogue habits from her house (including a dad who treats socks like theyâre disposable⌠like sorry?? đ) We also have our diva Tia on the mic for the yaps đ¤Ť
Itâs chaotic, honest, slightly concerning, and very real - all about routines, anxiety cleaning, and the little habits that make perfect sense in your own head.
If youâve ever:
⨠had very strong opinions on your routine
⨠lived in a slightly chaotic household
⨠or realised your habits might be⌠questionable
âŚthis oneâs for you.
We love you divas, thank you always for the love đ

This week weâre joined by the one and only Karen Grehan - business owner, chaotic queen and absolute icon â¨
We get into everything from her childhood and family life to motherhood, career pivots, and the reality of trying to juggle it all (with a few hilarious detours along the way).
Karen opens up about perimenopause, life changes, and using humour to get through it. As well as her journey from working in PayPal to building her own business in the beauty industry. Owner of Lash Dolls Academy of Beauty, Secret Warehouse, the Gas Man and we canât even remember what else sheâs running ahaha.
We chat about her entrepreneurial journey, the ups and downs of running salons, and her vision for creating a content hub and retail space. Thereâs also plenty of stories including some very chaotic wedding day moments and having an army of children.
Itâs funny, honest, and full of real-life lessons - with a mix of business, motherhood, and pure madness throughout.
If youâve ever:
⨠tried to balance a million things at once
⨠thought about starting something of your own
⨠or just love a strong, slightly chaotic woman
âŚthis oneâs for you.
We love you divas, thank you always for the love đ

GirliesđŤś
This week weâre joined by Robynâs little sister Tabatha, who opens up about living with OCD, ADHD and BPD. From childhood to family dynamics and diagnosis, therapy, and learning how to cope.
We get into everything from intrusive thoughts, collecting Victoria secret bras, and routines linked to OCD, to navigating life with BPD, emotional regulation, and breaking the stigma around mental health.
Thereâs also some chaos (obviously) including creepy attic stories, Chucky dolls, Victoriaâs Secret collections, and one very infamous carpet situation đ
We talk about:
* What OCD actually looks like in real life
* Living with BPD and managing episodes
* DBT therapy and coping strategies
* Family support and growing up with mental health challenges
* Breaking stigma and learning to understand yourself
This is one of our most honest conversations yet equal parts emotional, insightful, and chaotic in true Give Me A Minute fashion.

Welcome back girlies đ
This week⌠weâve actually been THROUGH IT.
Jess had a heart ablation, Adam had a seizure, Robyn ended up in A&E with a ruptured ovarian cyst⌠so obviously the only logical conclusion is: is HelloFresh ruining our lives?? đ
Ever since we stopped ordering takeaways everything has gone downhill and Adam has theories.
Weâre talking health scares, A&E chaos, the absolute state of the Irish healthcare system, and why it feels like you need to be rich to not suffer. Also farmer protests, tractors on the M50, and producer Kay boots on the ground in Limerick.
Itâs chaotic, unhinged, slightly concerning⌠but if your life feels like everything is happening at once, same x

This week weâre joined by Jessâs sister Ciara âKeega22â - makeup artist, serial girlfriend, and full main character diva â¨â¨â¨
We (lovingly) expose her for having a new boyfriend every year before getting into her current boyfriend Patrick - who might finally be the one đ
From Tinder Gold to finding a man FOUR DAYS after a breakup (??Ciara tells us how they met and why every boyfriend has to pass Jess first (gift of discernment đ).
We also get into the chaos of growing up in an Irish household - boyfriend bans, takeaway politics, and all the madness that comes with it.
Ciara opens up about her weight loss surgery, from flying to Turkey and her highest weight to struggling with food addiction, ADHD, and body dysmorphia even now. We chat about her new job, wanting to be a mammy, and the reality of trying to feel comfortable in yourself.
Itâs funny, honest, a bit unhinged, and very real - with plenty of random tangents (including Chinese takeaways not hitting the same as how they used to đ)
If youâve ever had questionable taste in men, struggled with your body or habits, or grown up in a chaotic Irish household⌠this oneâs for you.
We love you divaâs, thank you always for the love

Robyn McManus and Jess Ennis are back with an âExtra Minuteâ another bonus for you divas.
This week, weâre taking it back to lockdown⌠and all the absolute madness that came with it. From panic buying and 5k walks to street bingo, bubbles and pretending we enjoyed banana bread.
Nothing too serious - just a chaotic trip down memory lane of COVID in Ireland.
Enjoy this traumatic yet funny trip down memory lane đ đ đˇđˇ

Itâs just Robyn and Jess this week, bringing it back to the two of us doing what we do best!
Jess has low vitamin D and calcium, despite eating an impressive amount of cheese. Turns out the Irish weather is killing us all with the lack of vitamin D..
We talk about the reality of âhaving a villageâ and why it only works if youâre willing to be a villager too, the absolute comedians that live in the TikTok comment sections, Olympic speed skating and the bums that come with it. Then Robyn drops lore with gift giving and bug chasing that had Jess shook!
Half through the episode things get more serious. Jess opens up about living with intense health anxiety, constant catastrophising, and OCD traits that make everyday thoughts spiral into worst-case scenarios. Robyn gently challenges her on it and suggests something Jess has been avoiding, actually facing it and talking to a therapist instead of just pushing through.
Funny, chaotic, and unexpectedly honest , this episode goes from messing and laughs to a very real conversation about anxiety and mental health.
Basically: cheese, STIs , and a potential therapy breakthrough.
-
Itâs a Motherâs Day bonus episode and weâve got a very special guest in the hot seat - Robynâs stepmam Sinead đ
Nothing is off limits as she spills the tea on what itâs really like living in a house with an influencer, we deep dive on what life is like behind the camera and the chaos at home. Please join us in lovingly slagging Robynâs dad Shane đš
We get into the chaos of the dogs in the house, the iconic traditions of Irish mammies, the little lies mammies tell their kids growing up, and the legendary Irish mammy dinners we all know and love.
If youâve ever grown up with an Irish mammy (or survived one), this one will feel very familiar. Expect laughs, stories, and a bit of family roasting along the way.
A wholesome yet GAS extra minute.
Let us know what you think and if you can relate to anything we chatted about x
Love from the GMAM fam đ¤

This week weâre joined by TikTok creator Tammy Marry for a chaotic, honest and very funny chat about life online, relationships, and basically dragging up her whole life lol.
We get into the story behind Tammyâs name change, her relationship with Antonio (aka Toto) - who we all love despite never seeing his face online AND how he ended up moving from London to Ireland for love đĽšđ (May a love like this hit Robyn like a bus)
Tammy also opens up about her recent PCOS diagnosis, her journey towards motherhood, and what life looked like before TikTok took off, including working in customer service and navigating the strange world of TikTok Shop, influencing, and staying authentic online.
Of course, it wouldnât be Give Me A Minute without a bit of chaos and carnage - from family dynamics and relationship chat to an unforgettable toilet story that we promise you wonât see coming.
Expect laughs, honesty, and the kind of conversation that feels like youâre sitting on FaceTime with the girls⌠like always đ
