  • Do we really need Botox to age well… or are there other options worth exploring?

Today, I’m sharing my professional opinion about preventative Botox, Botulism Poisoning, and personal experience testing at-home beauty devices, what I think it realistically can (and can’t) do, and how we can approach aging from a barrier-first, pro-confidence perspective.

  • Have you ever wondered if certain places bring out different parts of you?

Maybe one location feels better for love.

Another supports your work or creativity.

Another helps you feel more grounded, connected, visible, or at peace.

I’m so excited to announce a very special mother-daughter collaboration called New Chapter Glow Map!

My mom, Shirley, has studied astrology for over 50 years, and together we’re offering a limited number of personalized astrology location readings designed to help you discover the places where you may feel most aligned in your next chapter.

This is especially for women who are curious about where they shine — whether that’s for love, work, friendship, creativity, healing, confidence, reinvention, or simply feeling more like yourself.

For this first offering, we are only selecting 10 people this year.

If you’re interested in being considered, please email me (see email address below) and share what you most want to understand about your ideal location.

You can ask about things like:

    Best places for love

Best places for work or career growth

Best places for friendship and community

Best places for creativity or visibility

Best places for healing, peace, or a fresh start

Best places to feel more like yourself in this next chapter

With your New Chapter Glow Map™ Reading , you’ll receive:

    A customized astrology location map

A written interpretation from my mom, Shirley (no AI)

A personalized audio summary from me to help make it easy to understand and apply

This is not about predicting your entire future or telling you what you “have” to do. It’s about giving you a beautiful, thoughtful tool for self-discovery — so you can better understand the places that may support who you are becoming.

If this speaks to you, email me to be considered for one of the 10 spots available this year!

    Email [email protected] and include:

    Your name

    Your birth date

Your birth time, as exact as possible

    Your birth location

What you most want to know about your ideal location

Any cities, states, or countries you’re curious about

Your information will not be shared with anyone else.

Once we receive your details we will confirm via email how to move forward if we feel it's a good fit.

Again, we’re only opening this to 10 people this year, so if you feel pulled toward this, don’t wait!

  • In this episode, I’m getting back to the basics and talking about three of the biggest skin concerns women often have: brightening dull-looking skin, softening the look of wrinkles, and helping skin appear naturally plumper without Botox. I’m also sharing supportive product recommendations and a more practical, barrier-first approach to skincare.

If you’re not wearing sunscreen, you're wasting money on skincare.

This episode is not sponsored and is not medical advice. It’s simply honest, experience-based guidance to help you focus on what really supports your skin.

From its medical origins in treating eye disorders to concerns about Botox side effects and possible Botox poisoning, this conversation is designed to inform, not judge. If you want a clearer understanding of Botox history, Botox risks, and what to consider before cosmetic injections, this episode will help you look at the full picture.

  • If you’ve been feeling off, experiencing things like low energy, brain fog, breathlessness, dry skin, dry eyes, or just not quite yourself—iron could be part of the story.

In this episode of Beauty Backroads, I’m sharing real-life iron insights I wish I’d known sooner. We’re talking about the often-overlooked signs of low iron, what can quietly block iron absorption, what vitamin you should take with iron and a wacky symptom that truly surprised me along the way.

I’m also revealing a surprising food that provides 50% of your daily iron needs—and no, it’s not the one everyone always talks about.

This is a calm, informative, no-alarm conversation meant to help you feel more informed and empowered—not overwhelmed.

As always, this isn’t medical advice, but it is an invitation to listen to your body, ask better questions, and advocate for your health.

  • Losing weight in your 40s is not the same as losing weight in your 20s, and if you’ve been feeling frustrated, discouraged, or stuck, you’re not imagining it.

In this episode, I’m sharing my personal journey of losing around 20 pounds naturally, without dieting, medication, or extremes — and the mindset and lifestyle shifts that actually made it sustainable. We talk honestly about why motivation doesn’t last, what my trainer taught me about protein and nourishment, and how to work out without stressing your body, joints, or nervous system.

I break down my realistic approach to clean eating and organic whole foods, reflect on what Susan Powter taught so many of us about food and empowerment, and explain why low-impact workouts can be incredibly effective in midlife. We also dive into the realities of perimenopause, including insulin resistance, visceral fat, blood sugar crashes, and why the “rules” from our 20s no longer apply.

I also open up about my personal experience with fibroids, weight gain, and the stubborn stomach bulge that so many women quietly struggle with — along with how fast food, stress, mental health, and the way we talk to ourselves can impact our progress more than we realize.

    Inside this episode, I share:

How to adjust your routine when you feel overwhelmed (without quitting)A simple food hack to stay on track on busy or hard daysMy secret sugar substitute tip and how to avoid crashesWhy blood work matters, including iron deficienciesMy favorite grass-fed protein supplementsThe role fiber plays in weight lossHow I use the 80/20 rule without all-or-nothing thinkingAn “excesses” hack for eating out, parties, and special occasions

This episode isn’t about perfection or punishment. It’s about learning how to support your body in this season of life — calmly, compassionately, and in a way that actually works long-term.

Remember… the more you know, the more you glow.

  • As we step into 2026, I wanted to take a moment to slow down, reflect, and share what’s next — not just for this podcast, but for the way we approach beauty together.

In this New Year episode, I’m opening up about how the podcast is evolving, why I’m making a few intentional changes, and some big news I’ve been so excited (and a little nervous) to share. This next chapter feels more aligned, more grounded, and more honest, and I think you’ll feel that shift right away.

We’re also getting back to the basics when it comes to skincare. Not trends. Not hype. Just what actually matters if you want healthy, resilient skin, especially as we move through our 40s and beyond. I’ll be sharing the skincare principles I’ll be focusing on going forward, why simplifying your routine can be so powerful, and how consistency, barrier support, and intention make all the difference in achieving real beauty goals.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by the beauty industry, disconnected from your routine, or ready for a reset that feels supportive instead of stressful, this episode is for you.

Here’s to a new year, a clearer path, and choosing what truly serves us — skin, heart, and soul.

  • What if the way you speak to yourself is quietly shaping the way you look?

In this Beauty Sermon, Jentri shares the powerful “I AM” principle taught by Dr. Wayne Dyer and how it directly affects your confidence, your nervous system, and even your skin. We talk about why focusing on what you don’t want, like wrinkles, aging, or comparison, actually keeps you stuck there, and how shifting your identity first is what creates real, visible change.

We also unpack the illusion of social media perfection versus real life, and why comparing your behind-the-scenes to someone else’s filtered highlight reel can disconnect you from your own beauty and possibility.

This episode is a gentle but empowering reminder that belief comes before evidence, and that your glow begins in your thoughts long before it shows up in the mirror.

Glow Note: Stop letting what you see deny what you’ve already decided in your spirit. You don’t believe it when you see it — you see it when you believe it.

  • Today’s episode is a real and deeply important conversation that every woman over 40 needs to hear.

Recently, a close friend of mine went from “typical menopausal symptoms” to two days in the ER with dangerously high liver levels — and what uncovered the truth wasn’t a scan, an MRI, or even blood work. It was a simple question most doctors never ask:

    “What supplements are you taking?”

This episode walks you through her story — the misdiagnoses, the spike in liver enzymes, and the surprising supplement link — and why this moment sent up red flags for me, too. As someone who’s used supplements for anxiety support, is trained in holistic skin health, and works with women in sensitive health seasons, this hit home.

    You’ll learn:

The hidden risks of long-term supplement use (even “natural” ones)Why menopausal symptoms often get misinterpretedHow dosing — under or over — can impact everythingWhy third-party testing isn’t always enoughThe difference between microdosing vs macrodosing (in beauty and health)How to support your nervous system without relying solely on pillsGentle, actionable ways to relax that won’t stress your liver

This is not a fear-based episode. It’s a cautionary, empowering conversation to help you protect your body, ask better questions, and make safer, more informed decisions — especially when life feels overwhelming and you just want relief.

And if your nervous system is craving support, I’m gifting you my free Glow Back™ Recovery Guide, filled with gentle wind-down rituals and real-life practices to help you restore calm without supplements.

This is NOT medical advice — just guidance to help you make informed decisions and feel more confident in your own skin.

  • If your skin has been irritated, breaking out, or just acting like it’s going through something… this episode is for you.

Today I’m opening up about two chapters from my life that completely reshaped how I understand stressed skin — the first time in my early 20s as a young makeup artist when deep, painful breakouts appeared out of nowhere, and later in my 40s during a stressful, transitional season when my skin rebelled all over again.

These experiences taught me one powerful truth:

Your skin listens to your life louder than it listens to your products.

And once you learn how to respond with compassion and the right tools, everything changes.

In this episode, we break down how stress sneaks into your skin, and more importantly, how to help your skin calm down, recover, and glow again.

    You’ll learn:

✨ Why stressed skin becomes reactive, inflamed, or breakout-prone

✨ The “Less Is More” reset that soothes angry skin fast

✨ Why blue LED light is a gentle, research-backed acne tool

✨ How salicylic acid works (and how NOT to overdo it)

✨ The real reason pimple patches work — and what they don’t do

✨ Prescription options for hormonally driven or persistent breakouts

✨ Why microdosing Accutane can be easier to tolerate

✨ The surprising ways stress outperforms genetics and diet

✨ My free Glow Back™ Recovery Guide — your simple roadmap to calmer skin

This episode is educational only and not medical advice — but it will help you better understand how to support your skin in the seasons when it needs more love.

  • Ciao, Beautiful!

Before hormone health became a mainstream conversation, Suzanne Somers was already advocating for women to understand their options.

Her wellness book Breakthrough was later featured in Sex and the City 2, turning her once-controversial message into a cultural moment.

In this heartfelt Endless Somers episode, Jentri unpacks Suzanne’s courage, why her voice mattered long before it was welcomed, and how her story can inspire women today to trust their intuition, their experiences, and their glow.

Glow Note: True beauty isn’t about being universally accepted—it’s about being courageously aligned.

  • Ciao, Backroad Beauty!

What happens when you say no to the thing everyone tells you could make you famous?

In this first episode of my new Endless Somers series, I share how Suzanne Somers’ decision to walk away from a shoot, when it would’ve been the easiest path to success, became one of the most defining moments of her life.

I’ll also share how her story inspired me to create this podcast series, how my own film background shaped my view of beauty, and why self-worth—not judgment—is the real foundation of feeling beautiful.

💛 Whether you grew up watching Suzanne or you’re just discovering her story, this episode will remind you that the most beautiful thing you can ever do… is make decisions that align with who you are.

The more you know the more you glow!

Glow Note: Sometimes, walking away isn’t rejection—it’s redirection.

  • Ciao, Backroad Beauty!

This week’s Sunday Morning Beauty Sermon is a heartfelt reminder that not everything that looks perfect… is.

Jentri shares the story of a client who seemed to have it all — glowing skin, a glamorous life, and effortless beauty — until she opened up about the truth behind her struggles.

In this gentle conversation, we’ll explore how comparison, social media, and perfectionism can quietly erode our confidence — and how self-compassion and authenticity can bring it back.

Because real beauty isn’t filtered, it's felt.

    In this episode:

The hidden side of “perfect” beauty onlineWhy stress and comparison can show up on your skinA simple mindset shift to restore your inner glow

Glow Note: You are not a filter. You are a work of art — in progress, on purpose, and entirely enough.

  • In this episode, I’m taking you back to a cold New Year’s Eve when five simple words shifted the course of my entire life. After a 15-year marriage ended, I found myself starting over, alone, uncertain, and stripped down to my core. But that moment of vulnerability became the foundation for everything that came next: love, healing, and a whole new chapter in beauty and in life.

We’ll talk about what it means to truly let go, to trust the process, and how that same mindset applies not only to skin healing but to emotional recovery, too.

So grab your coffee or your glow serum, and settle in. Because sometimes, the most beautiful things happen when we finally stop trying to control the outcome.

The more you know, the more you glow.

  • In this episode, I’m sharing a heartfelt reminder that everyone has one thing—that special quality, strength, or feature that makes you uniquely beautiful. Too often, we zero in on what we don’t like and forget to appreciate the things that truly make us who we are.

Inspired by Jamie and Christina from The MESSY Podcast and their message that “everybody’s got something,” I wanted to bridge both ideas together: we all have one thing to be proud of—and we all have something we’re quietly carrying.

It’s a powerful reminder to lead with both confidence and compassion. Because you never know what someone else is going through, and you can’t judge a book by its cover.

So today, let’s take a moment to see ourselves a little softer, celebrate what we love, and remember that kindness—toward ourselves and others—is the real glow-up.

And as always… the more you know, the more you glow.

    xoxo

    Jentri
