Sadly, the sabbatical is coming to an end, and El Salvador and Mexico are the last stops for Farber and Jonica. El Salvador has been going through some major changes, but the surf is still up, and Mexico is still a great love, and hopefully, it will be their future home.

To kick off 2025, we headed to Costa Rica to spend a week with Mark's family. Of course, there were beaches, food, lots of traffic, and zip lining. Farber and Jonica then head onto Guatemala to explore the "Gringo Trail" which maybe should actually be the "Dutch Trail"? Let's just say they had to stay at a hostel...

Jonica and Mark's Euro Summer must come to an end but not before spending time in beautiful Montenegro, dreamy Monopoli, meeting some friends in Naples, and touring the Alamfi Coast. Then it is onto Morocco for a three-week tour of this incredible and unique country. Warning - this one is on the longer side so buckle up!
-
The Balkans offer a lot of history - much of it not so pretty, but still very important to learn about and explore. Jonica and Mark visit the beautiful city of Bucharest and then visit a couple of the many castles and natural beauty this country offers. Then it is to Sarajevo, Serbia and lastly, we learn and witness the sad but incredible resilience of Bosnia and Herzegovina and it's people.
-
Farber and Jonica continue their Euro summer tour. After departing Croatia they head North to Germany to visit some friends who give them more hiking than they bargained for. Then it is onto historic and culturally rich Vinnea. While there for only a few days, they pack in as much as possible and see some old travel buddies. It is then on to explore Bratislava and a re-visit to Budapest.
-
Plans change especially when there are opportunities to see friends! Farber and Jonica make a quick stop in Italy and then head to Croatia FINALLY! Listen to find out why...!
-
Turkey (a Muslim-light country) is historic, gritty, diverse, and has so much to explore. Farber and Jonica spend only two weeks in two places in this mind-blowing country. Sure, there are a lot of meats on a stick, but there is also so much more.
-
After a busy couple of weeks in India some R&R was needed, and that is exactly what Farber and Jonica got in beautiful Sri Lanka. They then head to Dubai for two luxurious days (which Farber loved but hated).
-
After a week traveling in the North of India, Mark and Jonica go on to spend another week traveling around the South. The differences between these two regions are vast, but of course, it is still complicated.
-
Jonica finally agrees to travel to India, but she has some rules. First up, a week in the North where Farber and Jonica learn time and time again what a complicated country India is.
-
Farber and Jonica celebrate being on the road for SIX MONTHS! Listen in for some top 3 lists and a bit of a rundown on how and where things are going. Shocker - they still like each other!
