  • Today on Bad In The Boondocks we discuss the gruesome torture and killing of little Baby Brianna and The Lonely Hearts killer Harry Powers. We really do hope you enjoy todays episode, the Baby Brianna case was really hard to read and it questions how any body could do such bad things to a little baby. • Two things about this episode. First, we are so sorry for getting this episode out to you guys late. I have been working in Florida, and we live in South Carolina. I did not get back to South Carolina until late this weekend so that is why it is not on time. Secondly, thank you so much for any of you that have rated and/or reviewed us. We have found out the past week that on Castbox, it has not been showing ratings and reviews, and on iTunes, they are slowly trickling in late. So, if we have not given you a shout out on an episode, it is because your comment/review is not showing up. If that is the case for you, please take a minute and review us again on the platform you use, and go to our website https://badintheboondocks.com (https://badintheboondocks.com) and shoot us a comment there also. Thank you guys and gals so much for sticking with us. We really care about what y'all think and we want to know anything we can do to make you want to listen to us even more. Also, if you will, please go to our Patreon page and consider joining one of our three tiers, each of which has unique perks. This will really help us continue and improve our podcast. We do not receive any monetary compensation for the podcast because we are completely independent and completely free of annoying ads. But, it does cost us money to put out this podcast and becoming a patron will help us become better sounding, and stay ad free. Plus, becoming a patron gives you a lot of neat perks as well as bonus content (and who can say no to more of us right!?). Having said that, this week, we talk about a loser of a guy named Carl Brown, and yet another loser named Charlie Starkweather. Again, sorry for the lateness of the episode and thank you so much for listening. And hey, spread the word, and tell a friend! Support this podcast

  • Today on Bad in the Boondocks we discuss the killings of Leonard Lake and Charles Ng and Juan Corona. On the gruesome case of Leonard and Charles there is dialogue that actually was inserted from the tapes of the actual killings. This dialogue is truly disturbing and will leave you haunted by what actually happens in these killings. Juan Corona is not tasteful in any way and he uses a machete to hack his victims. We really do hope you enjoy this episode, but also please help us by subscribing to us and giving us a like. You can visit our website badintheboondocks.com. • Today on Bad In The Boondocks we will tell the disturbing stories of Jane Toppan and Kenneth Erskine. These two stories remind us all that they are not just some bedtime fantasies our mothers once read us, they are real disturbed people that actually killed. These types of people are monsters that you may see in your darkest nightmares. One of these stories really makes you question going to a nursing home once you age. We really do hope you enjoy this episode, but also please help us by subscribing to us and giving us a like. • Today, on our episode of Bad in the Boondocks, we discuss and dig deep into the minds of two gruesome serial killers. Luis Alfredo Garavito and Andrei Romanovich Chikatilo, in which both made our stomachs turn by the end. They are both really messed up people, and it reminds us that there are true monsters in the world. We really hope you enjoy, but also remember to visit our website https://badintheboondocks.com (https://badintheboondocks.com). • Wow....this one is a doosie y'all. We start out this week with a douchebag school shooter, and then we go down a twisted path into the life of one very disturbed Robert Black. Robert Black was one that I needed a bath after researching, so strap in in for this one. Also, our new website is now live. Go to https://badintheboondocks.com (https://badintheboondocks.com) to see it. There you are able to directly get in touch with us, learn a little backstory about us, and listen or subscribe to all of our episodes. Please get in touch with us and give us some feedback, or suggestions. We have not heard from any of our listeners, and we really do want to. Also, stop by our Patreon page and consider supporting our show so that we can keep it ad free. There are three tiers to choose from, each with really cool perks. Our first Patron only episode is up but until we get some patrons, we will not post any more. Once we do get our first patron, we will actively post new ones as per the schedule. Thanks to everyone that listens. We love and appreciate each and every one of you. Also, PLEASE rate and/or REVIEW us....that is the only way for our show to get shown to others so they can also listen. Support this podcast

  • Remember when Erica and Billy discussed "Squatters, Incest, and...Octopus?" last season in Episode 50 about the Hinterkaifeck murders? Well, if you haven't listened to it, go do that now and then come back. This case is very similar, except this one was "solved". Or was it? Did the man convicted of murdering 8 people on a farm in North Dakota confess because he was guilty, or were there other factors involved? Can meatballs be put on grilled cheese? And were there really even any murders or are Erica and Billy just talking about a dance party? Hard hitting questions! Things to ponder! A chicken! Let us know your thoughts after the show on social media!

  • This week Erica and Billy have another story so crazy that they had to split it into two parts!
(Sorry, guys.) They'll talk about the abuse and taunting of a young boy named Carroll, which, as you may assume, leads him down a path of dark fantasies and murder. And Erica and Billy will be the first to tell ya-he's not a good kid. Like Dennis the Menace but more murdery. Like if Dennis the Menace was a genius that killed puppies...and people. Like that.
Make sure you catch Part 2 in two weeks to hear the conclusion!

  • Life was a bit strange in England in the 1930's, as is this murder mystery surrounding the murder of a woman bludgeoned to death during an extremely small window of time while her husband was seemingly lured away from the home. But did the husband set up the whole scenario to give himself an alibi or was someone set on getting him away from the house so they could make their move? Erica and Billy will tackle this unsolved case this week, as well as discussing the fine sport of Hammerball. (Don't worry if you don't know the rules-Billy will tell you all about it!) After listening, let us know your thoughts on social media!

  • In part 1 of episode 51, Hunter takes us back to the town of Mason City, Iowa, to visit a case from 1993 that went cold for many years. One that has found itself in the public spotlight once again, as the federal death penalty has been reinstated. This is the story of a meth manufacturer who refused to spend his life behind bars, and would murder anyone who tried to put him there. This is the case of Dustin Lee Honken.

  • Colleen Slemmer was an 19-year-old woman training at the job corps in Knoxville, Tennessee. In January 1995, Colleen was lured into the woods by three other teens and killed in a very horrific way. The ringleader was an 18-year-old named Christa Pike who believed that Colleen was trying to steal away her boyfriend.

Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss this tragic murder. Did Christa and her cohorts set out to murder Colleen Slemmer, or as some have claimed, was this a situation that spiraled out of control when Christa made the decision to commit murder? The lives of three young people were changed forever that night and Colleen Slemmer lost her life.

  • Lawrence Singleton committed his first documented major crime when he was in his fifties. Driving along one day he picked up a hitchhiker who he sexually assaulted and mutilated. His victim survived her ordeal and went on to become a victim's advocate. Singleton did a relatively small amount of time and then, after getting out, went on to murder.

Join MIke and Gibby as they discuss the crimes committed by Singleton. His first victim's story is inspiring. Unfortunately, his next victim would not survive. Why does a man in his fifties decide to suddenly commit a particularly heinous act? And why does he then, after serving his sentence, decide to commit murder when he is in his late sixties?

  • You read it right-a butthole so glorious that you have to take a second glance! A pristine butthole is of the highest importance when you're a cannibal in early 1900's Prussia, especially when you're "The Forgotten Cannibal". Join Erica and Billy as they give you all the gory details of what was found in this cannibal's house of horrors, including a magnificent gluteal specimen. And if you can eat spam while listening, you get a gold star and a digital high five!
