(english episode) Shirin calls Sinje Gottwald. Sinje recently rode on a Cake electric motorcycle from Barcelona to Cape Town in South Africa, for 124 days and 13 000 km, solo and unassisted. This has never been done before. Inspired by her father at a young age, she started taking long rides with him, and this is where she planted a seed to where she is now. Sinje was always a curious child, curious to see the world, see new cultures and she still is. Sinje loves the idea to go from village to village and from city to city, and really get to know the people and to be close to nature. Solo in Africa, as a woman, there were parts where she felt scared, but there were mostly encounters where she fell pure love. Driven by passion and curiosity, she is on a mission to continue her journey around the world. The most beautiful sunset she ever saw was in Santiago de Chile. And the biggest lesson she learned is that everyone can achieve anything they want. We will also talk about Sinjes morning routines, sunrise yoga in Barcelona, how she trains, and how she prepared for this long journey. Enjoy our conversation and listen to her challenges, experiences and adventures.
