Angelina Jordan is so natural. She just is. It seems like she is never nervous. There is no pretension. Just a humble confidence. Now, how's that for a role model?
-
It's fascinating that Angelina Jordan can act as a role model for a grown person. It's almost as she can give you a blueprint of how to be a better human being.
We must not see age as a limiting factor. There is something special about youth. The pure emotion, living in the present, and not having any filters. We can all learn from that. You're never too old to have a transformation.

”I am so full of admiration to Angelina Jordan and her family for broadcasting that video from the hospital bed with her grandmother.
To me it so fits in to who she is and how she is, because she is saying, 'My heart is open. These are my feelings. They are strong and they are clear and I am not afraid of my feelings and I'm not embarrassed by my feelings. And even though this is a very private moment, this is who I am, and this is how I am'.
And I thought it was a tremendous, tremendous, thing to do. I cannot think of anyone else who would do something like that.”

If you were Angelina Jordan's manager, what advice would you give her, or which direction would you try and take her? Is that a fair question to ask?
No? Our guest didn't think so either.
But let's look at it from a songwriting point of view. What type of criteria would you use with the writing of songs for Angelina Jordan? What would it take for Angelina to break through to a worldwide audience?
Miss Saiko (or in this case) Valeria is a singer/songwriter who has, not one, but three songs in the works that she would love for Angelina to sing. And at least one of them is aimed at making it in the charts.

‘Sympathy is when you rationally understand how another person is feeling. Empathy is when you feel like another person is feeling.’
Has the nature of the love that Angelina Jordan experienced been so wonderful and so opening for her that she became an empath?
The real genius and delight that Angelina Jordan has is that she can translate that quality of empathy into her artistry and then have it impact us in the same way.

We can act tough. We can keep our emotions buried deep inside of us. That is until we start listening to Angelina Jordan.
What is she doing to us through her artistry? It’s as if we’re becoming a different person almost, more emotional, more inspired.
How can she inspire an accountant that is used to writing stuff like, ‘Q4 revenue is 20% more than last quarter’ to suddenly write poetic lines like, ‘It’s like her voice laid bare all the scars on my soul and caressed each one of them.’
How can she possibly do that?

Angelina Jordan has reinvented music. It's almost as if she has come up with a different language. And for some of us, the impact of that is profound. The shift in perspective reorients us in a completely different direction.
Looking at a grain of sand and understanding that millions and millions of years ago that was part of a rock. You might never look at a beach the same way again. All it takes is a small shift in perspective.
Some people say the glass is half empty, some say it's half full. By shifting our perspective and reinventing ourselves, might we dare to say the glass is overflowing?

Pontus has this idea to present an imaginary cover album with songs he would like Angelina to record.
He thinks a lot about how Angelina would tackle his favorite songs. How much better they would sound if she performed them and put her spin on them.
We all know she could do it. Regardless of genre. After all, she is the girl with a thousand voices.

Angelina Jordan can make us all cry. Why is that? It’s hard to put it into words if we’re crying without even knowing it. There’s got to be more to it than just tears. There’s something else going on here. It’s an emotional mystery beyond words. The level of her virtuosity and her understanding of music at such a young age strikes us as a miracle.

When you sleep and have dreams, your brain just lets go of all the boundaries you set up for yourself. And you are totally free in your mind. There is Potential there. With a capital P.
Angelina has a special world she goes to when she sings. Is it like a dream? We don’t know, but one thing is certain. She is living her dream.

All her life Adriane Kelly just wanted to give love, express love, be part of love and share love. Just like Angelina.
So when she saw Angelina standing on that stage in Norway's Got Talent, barefoot in the dress with the hair and the teeth, there was this instant connection.
”It was like a laser beam between her and me, that I was able to identify with this little child in Norway. It was the strangest thing... I don't know what it is. I don't care what it is. It just feels so good.”

When things are going bad for you emotionally, it could feel like you've gone too far out in the ocean and the water is in over your head and you're being swept over by all the waves. And her comes Angelina Jordan and in a way is throwing us a life jacket.
Dave Blakey had a rough couple of years and he needed something in his life. Then he discovered Angelina Jordan. The message in her songs really helped him a lot. The emotion, the storytelling, the empathy.
And why is a 15-year-old girl from Norway the messenger? -
There are people out there who are a little bit sceptical of Angelina’s greatness. They feel she’s only a child and doesn’t have life experience. So how can she really do the full, proper rendition of a song without life experience?
And as Alan says – I’m not sure I can answer that, but she does.
Maybe she is emotionally articulate in a way that very few other people are. As all Angelina Jordan fans are aware of she has a gift which is a musical gift, but she also has a gift, which is an emotional gift.
And that is one of the extraordinary things, which make her really, really special.
