Transitions in life are inevitable. They are the defining moments that fuel our identity, unforeseen incidences, and the opportunities that drive us to change our paths in life.
Amani Maranga and Kevin Kanyottu look into the situations that define transitions in their lives. These transitions are defined by new initiatives, bold decisions as well and transitions that happen in the due course of time. Such as growing children; dealing with pre-teens and teenagers, and taking care of aging parents. Others are unforeseen such as loss of life, loss of marriage, loss of jobs, disillusionment

Many men, including myself in their 40s are faced with the uphill task of defining who they are, what they do, and why they do what they do. This is a season in a person’s life where terms such as half-time, mid-life crisis, checkpoint, crossroads, junction, and others have been coiled to define the experiences that they face in their lives.
Men, mostly are faced with the hard task of balancing and juggling many balls in life and end up with stress, disappointment, disillusionment as well and suicidal thoughts while they toil with the questions asked around mid-life.
Young men, adult men, and old men begin to act and manifest symptoms of what may seem awkward and unusual to those that are around them leaving their friends, family, and society shocked and confused at the person facing mid-life.
We speak to Zephaniah Ananda author of the book Grafted to Kingdom Sonship: (Check it here: https://tinyurl.com/5n8adkwd) on this topic. We define who Mid-Life affects, the age as well as the reasons.

In this episode, we speak about the couples that have children who have left their homes and become vulnerable to one another. Without friendship and a bond created when the children were there, there is a likelihood that the environment could become unfamiliar to them.
There is also the scenario of having houseboys and house helps that could be outlets for the gaps that are created in the marriage by empty nesting season or in times when the spouses have traveled and have not been emotionally, or physically available in the homes.

In this episode we discuss the growth stages most relationships go through as they grow into the level of marriage. Find out how even couples in seasoned marriages can end up being dysfunctional due to skipping some of the steps /stages that we discuss.
Some marriages may have gone through these stages and the couples forgot what they are and begin to have resentment towards one another. Some relationships may also fall and in the process, the partners go through the same stages as others leading to extramarital affairs.
Dr. Stanley Mukolwe of Raising Future Parents ministries https://raisingfutureparents.com/ holds down this discussion for us and we've got lots to learn. Listen in!Support the show
