We're back! We know it's been a rough few weeks, heck a rough year, for a lot of us. We decided this week's episode would be all about our TV & movie "comfort food". This episode is chock-full of what we like to watch when we need that show that brings back great memories, has characters that feel like our best friends, or just helps us feel that everything is going to be OK.
Pattie's List
Scrubs, Powerpuff Girls, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Game Shows, Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who, Dirty Jobs, How It's Made, Studio Ghibli Movies, It's Alive series, Princess Bride, The NeverEnding Story, Babe.
Bill's List
Parks & Rec, Star Trek, True Lies, Real Genius, Star Wars, Armageddon, Predator, Aliens, Oceans 13, The Mummy, Shawshank Redemption, Office Space, and the book Black Boy by Richard Wright.

This week Friend of the Pod, Dave, shared an article with us about how streamers are over-feeding and starving audiences at the same time. There's so much out there, but none of it is that great. Bill asks, if the streaming services went back to the old model of releasing the big movies in the summer, fall, holiday season, Oscar season, etc. where they put their budgets into a big blockbuster kind of movie vs spreading budgets for a larger variety of mediocre crap, would that make a difference and would audiences respond to that better? This would include moving all new TV series to the fall premieres like they used to when there was only network television. What do you think? Would that be better than the constant release of crap? How do you find out about new and upcoming shows when there are so many things and so many streaming services?
We've also got 3 short reviews for you this week.

This week is a pretty quick episode. Pattie mentions a show Dwight chose on Peacock, and got the name totally wrong. Like this episode title, it is not Circus Maximus, but rather, "Those About to Die." She apologizes for all the confusion she's going to cause this week. We also talk about FBI profiling, Korean history, stalking, comedies that aren't really comedies, and superpowers.
